NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

College is in srinagar,the heaven of earth and In winters it is real heaven because whole campus is covered with the snow,it is on the banks of Dal lake famous for shikara.College placements are decent neither very good nor bad.

NIT srinagar is a good college,formerly known as Regional Engineering College Srinagar,The college has it's own central purchasing units,canteens,Atm and a Bank.College is on the bank of Dal lake with glimpses of nature and in winter it is even more look like a paradise.

I prefer it to those who want to study their degree program with the natural beauty of kashmir,the college is situated on the bank of world famous dal lake,famous for shikara and house boats.Second thing is that this is a college of national Importance and have good placements,and almost 100 percent placements in it and cse branches.

College is in kashmir,famous for it's natural beauty and situated on the bank of Dal lake.College has almost 100 percent placement for IT and cse with an average package greater than 10 lacs,and also some big names are come for placement.

College is situated at the bank of Dal lake, the world famous lake. It is situated in hazratbal srinagar kashmir and in winter the college is covered with snow. It is a institute of national importantance like IITS which are prestigious colleges of India, we will have a degree of such college and placement are also good.

The environment of college is very good as it is situated at heaven of earth,srinagar.Also die to good placement in some mncs,also a students had got 72 lacs package in USA,may be the ever greatest package till now.

First of all,the NIT is situated in srinagar,the heaven of world and I am a nature loving person that's why I give first hand to this college.As I like math and chemistry very much that's why I choose chemical Engineering and due to good (not best) placement in my college.There are also some summer interns in college on petroleum technology etc and a great Alumini base as the NIT established in 1960.

Campus placement was fine until a few years ago now the standards of the college have declined and as a result the placements have also declined

choose CS/IT in NITs because of the packages and placements opportunities and there are such people also who choose mechanical, electronics,etc because they really like it and because of the government sector opportunities that they see in future.

I wanted to get into core branch of engineering also I did not want to take a drop. During the counselling process, I got Electronics and Communication Engineering branch in NIT Srinagar. Therefore, I chose it. Plus, you get a lot of time to prepare for other competitive exams at NIT Srinagar. 75% attendance criteria is not very strictly enforced.
