The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
"hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.

Dislikes

The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

Remarks:

In my college there is a proper study environment which is beneficial for everyone. Here the biggest advantage we've in our campus is they totally accept online payments.atleast we don't have to carry cash.

Great College Great Opportunities

Remarks:

Positive Best in class infrastructure, location of College is really good. Peaceful environment and good work culture. Beautiful campus. Negative Located in remote area so placement is not that great.

Remarks:

In past many good companies used to visit Chandigarh but avoid to visit Hamirpur due to road conditions so students were looking for some arrangements which TPO can do to take them to Chandigarh for placements but no corrective action was taken on that front. Things are improvement significantly in last 5 yrs

NITH is a really good and highly ranked in India.

Remarks:

Everything is very good but sometimes i feel like, personally, the fees for the general students is a bit high because you're spending almost 1lac per semester while some people only pay around 30,000 rupees only. The limit should be raised till 6-7lacs as the person may have other expenses than the college also and just in case to support the parents. (just my personal opinion)

Remarks:

National institute of technology Hamirpur is a beautiful campus and comes in selective universities as far as the beauty is concerned. National institute of technology Hamirpur has a long way to run.it is progressing much faster since 2017. Girls are not allowed outside the hostel aftet 10.00 pm m,it seems like there is a lack in freedom for girls.

NIT Hamirpur

Remarks:

NIT Hamirpur is a great college to get enchanted by the beauty of nature, there is so much of peace around as the college sits in the adobe of himalayas enjoying the perfect view and taste of nature, but yes the only drawback the college has that it is a bit remote with no railway and flight connectivity.

This is a very good govt. deemed university. This is the best engineering college in himachal pradesh India. Other than this campus of the college is very beautiful. All the working staff is vey good and listen your conerns as well.

Awesome college

Admission:

I prepared for 2 years then cleared jee mains exam. The preparation was not hard though you need to be consistent with your studies. After the result I filled my counselling on jossa.nic.in with the priorities of colleges and branches. After that there were 7 rounds I got my seat in 6th round.
