The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
"hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.

Dislikes

The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

The college has all the facilities including canteen and wonderful classrooms, different societies for every event organized, anti-raging society and many more. The strategy of syllabus completion on time is best part of the college. Factors such as cleanliness in the campus also attracts alot.

The one major reason to get in the college or to choose the college was the ranking of the college above other NIT'S. The weather surroundings of the Himachal Pradesh also made me to choose the college, mostly everyone as a student want to have a cool and calm surrounding for study and nit hamirpur has it all. The huge campus buildings is designed in such a decent way that everything looks like awesome. Above are the all reasons that made me take admission in nit hamirpur.

Many reasons were there to join the institute and one of them was the ranking, at that time NIT, hamirpur was at top in the list of NIT's. The weather of Himachal Pradesh was also a reason to get admission there as the area is having very silent and cool surroundings. The cleanliness of the campus also attracted me.

Just the right one

Remarks:

The campus is very beautiful. The environment here is peaceful and soothing. This year collge ranking has been a big issue. But we all are working to get to root of it and we will sure shine next year. Also these rankings doesn't reflect the actual status of college there are many factors where it can go wrong.

MY college- Suitable or Not!

Placement Experience:

Final year(7th sem) they are eligible for campus placements and offers. I am in the third year so I don't know about the companies visited but the offers were quite good. This year we had some crisis in placement but it was mainly due to the automobile sector crash in India.
