Good work environment and one of the best college of INDIA including Study, Facilities provided, great Infrastructure. Also It is ranked as top 2nd most beautiful campus in India.Faculties are also good few new department need some changes.

College is good for certain branches, average for some. A very happening college life amid the beauty of Himalayas. Admission was through JEE Mains and counselling process was conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority.

Professors are extremely good. Good work culture and beautiful campus. Teachers are extremely friendly and are approachable. Placement is very good in here. Almost all companies visit NIT Hamirpur campus regularly

It's one of the best engineering college with a beautiful campus. Life is awesome here and placements in any engineering college these days depends upon individual. On-campus placement opportunities are a little less due to remote location but this is slowly changing with companies opting for online hiring. Students need to score good marks in JEE Mains to get admission which ensures the quality of peers in college.

NIT Hamirpur is an institution of national importance and it is located in himachal and has a very beautiful campus. College life here is amazing. It is spread in an area of 350 acres and has very beautiful views both inside and outside the campus. Hostels and mess food is also good. You can go on trips each weekend.

Placements are decent for Computer Science and Electronics. Certain good package offering companies comprise Codenation, Arcesium, Amazon, Siemens, Qualcomm, etc. Apart from these Paytm, Public Sapients, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, etc. hire a good bunch of students. Electrical, Civil, Mechanical students are allowed to sit for companies such as Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, etc. The placement rate of CSE and ECE is more than 100% but that's not the case with all the other branches. 1.2 crore forms the highest package being offered to the date. For an average CSE student, 7-8 LPA is the average package.

From the 7th semester he comes eligible for campus placements, many big companies visit like Amazon, Adobe, Samsung and others. The placement is good. All CSE students get placed at an average of 11 lakhs. The highest placement is taken by case students of approx 25-40 lakh but many apply for off-campus now and get 40+ placements. The average for cse is 11 approx and for ECE it's 9-10 but frothers branches, it's 6-7. But with the changing time, all branches students are bagging high placement as everything is going online. The highest for ee in 2020 was around 9.5 LPA. Around 60% was placed and 90% each was placed and 96% CSE was placed.

Percentage doesn't matter in these type of colleges the things which is matter most is Quality. If you have any special quality then anyone can't stop you to get placed. My plans was so different. I wanted to go for civil services so I choose another way.
