NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Companies started to come from the starting of the third year i.e the 7th sem. The placements are nice. You need to have 7 cgpa at least if you want to sit in every company placement interview. The TPRs are quite active there.

Best thing about college is that NIT hamirpur has very less work load so that one can continue to learn new skills which can help him in the second year of dissertation and also for the PhD or campus placements.

The Institute is given the status of Institute of National Importance. It maintains a Good placement record. The Institute is blessed with very scenic and modern infrastructure. Very close to nature. All amenities are present inside the institute. Many places in himachal for excursion with friends.

Placements are good in CSE but for other branches, placements are not so good. About 90 to 95% of students placed in CSE and ECE in 2020. About 60 to 70% of students placed ME, EE, CE, etc. The highest package salary in ME is about 16 lakhs and the average package salary is about 4 lakhs in ME.

NITs are good place place to pursue B.Tech after IITs in India. I got this branch from my JEE Mains Rank but as it is from NIT Hamirpur I took it. NIT Hamirpur is located at such a beautiful, it will be good spending 4 years here.

Good placement almost 90 % of students got placed Highest package is 25lac per annum Capgemini Accenture Godrej Maruti honda subtos Schindler are the company visiting nith Campus placement scenario is also very good for computer science and electronics branch for the core branches as civil mechanical it's not very good only 40 to 60% students get placed in campus placements the maximum package is also not fancy the average package offered to Kurban 386 lakh per annum where ICS Computer Science Students get an average package of 12 lacs per annum

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is many companies are visits our collage every year for placements and Now I'm the 2nd year student so I didn't know much about it. Highest package in my branch last year was 15 lac something and the average package was 5 lac something. Percentage of students getting placements = 70 (last year).

Student can avail campus placements from 7th semester highest package was 35 lacs by adobe. Number of offer make were 245 and around 50 companies listed Samsung adobe Microsoft capgi big names.

Students sit for placements after 7th sem. Highest package for mechanical is 35lpa in marine company. All the IT company as capgemini accenture octum samsumg vists here. Manufacturing companies as TaTa maruti also visits Almost everyone gets placed at nit so almost 100%. After the degree on can go for govt exam prep or higher studies.

Average placement. Some got as good as 36 lpa . But most of them are in around 4 to 10 lpa. Recruitment cell is active. They are sensitive too. Coaching institutions , adobe, isro and several it companies like cognizant etc. are good visitors. No idea about percentage of students placed. I have been enrolled in PHD at iit ism dhanbad.
