Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

NIT in the city of gods - NIT kurukshetra

Likes

the beautiful and lush green campus spread over a wide area . the campus has a lake of its own .
various sports opportunities and world class facilities to train and practice.
various clubs and socities to explore different domains.

Dislikes

the hostel rooms are quite a bit shrinked and one can face difficulties in adjusting.
the food quality of mess food is also not very good.
poor locality and no city life as kurukshetra is a small town and doesnt contain much of the facilities.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent and the students from 7 semester becomes eligible for campus placements. The major companies visited are microsoft , google , samsung , adobe etc. more than 150 companies visited nit kurukshetra this year . number of eligible students were 1368 in various courses which includes b.tech , m.tech MCA and MBA . More than 1000 placement offers were made and average package was 14.12 lakhs and highest package was 65 lakhs per annum.

Likes

Campus night life for boys, fests in the collage
Campus area and overall infrastructure of collage
Professors and supportive batchmates and supportive environment

Dislikes

Mess food is very poor in hostel 10 difficult to eat
No option of food for late time craving as there is no shop or store open at night
Collage academic pressure as many suicide occurred due to this

Placement Experience:

7th sem company started to come. Our college do provide place with avg package of 10-12 lakhs but due to recession it has major impact on placements, many seniors do not get placement or just got package or 6-8 lakhs which is quite low

I like the college life the support assistance of teacher
I like availability of all sports here which helps you get expertise in any
I like one to one counselling feature that's helps to get out of any depression

Dislikes

I dislked the classroom for BTech students which are quite old
I has no 24*7 hour canteen in the campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are very nice the branch wise avg package are for CS it's 21 lac for ECE it's 17.89 lac for electrocal it's 13 for civil it's 8 for mechanical it's 10 for production it's 8 the highest package is from ECE 61.5 lac and allso have a great off campus record as well

College Introduction

Likes

The clubs and societies are very fantastic.
The environment is very nice.It also has gym.
Ver big sports complex where we can focus on our fitness.

Dislikes

Some times the food quality is not that much effective.
The fest is also sometimes under some restrictions.Like DJ night
The room is good but not that much effective for the freshsers.

Placement Experience:

The placement is fantastic. A number of companies including MNCs hire students of the college for the placements.the average package of the computer science branch B.TECH is 22 lakh and the highest is 64 lakh last year and also same for the other branches.

NIT Kurukshetra-The Best

Likes

Othe curricular activities liked thought lab, meditation lab.
The billing system in the hostel is very good
The campus is very greenish and there is good vibe of birds and trees inthe whole campus.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the commencement of 7 th semester. The major companies visted here are google , microsoft, facebook , maruti etc. The highest package is 1.25 Cr per annum and the average package is atound 24 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting palcement is around 85-90.

Library the library contain more then 1lac books
You don't buy books because book bank at library provides you book for whole semester for no cost.
Their is a computer centre has more then 100 computers you go and use it for free

Dislikes

The collage faculty was knowledgeable but not good to explain it.
Hostel was good but their maintance was not on time
You don't get sports complex you think .

Placement Experience:

1.Compnies starts visiting at begining of 4th year for placement . 2.Many compnies like microsoft, tcs, Infosys, taxes instruments, tata motors, akash, ibm, samsung, ashoka Leyland, mahendra and many more... 3.highest placement was 62.5 lpa and avg. Was 14.16 lpa 4. Approx 80 % student got placement 5. If you not get placement then you teach in a school or a private collage you easily get 50k per month.

NIT- A premier institute

Likes

Brains of the college. There are various people in the campus who have really good knowledge of their feilds
Greenary present in the campus.There are various trees which add to the scenic beauty of the institute.
Spacious hostels room with balcony and proper ventilation

Dislikes

There is a lot of funding issues from the management for fests
Infrastructure of the institute is very old and which needs proper renovation
Mess advance paid is bit expensive as compared to mess facilities provided

Placement Experience:

Campus placement drive begins from 7th semester of the course. Major recruiters of the drive includes companies like Microsoft Amazon Flipkart PSUs etc. Aprox 80% of the batch gets placed in the drive with an average package of around 14.7 LPA. Highest package of 65 LPA

Girls are not allowed after eight thirty in night
Minimum attendence is seventy five percentage
To reach college I have to make multiple transportations

College placements are good But they are decreasing every year At 5 th semester, students are eligible for campus placement I don't know more about the companies and offers because I am in 1 year Highest package I remembered is of a girl of civil engineering got 40 lakhs per annum My plan after degree is to go for higher education

The Engineering Battle at Kurukshetra .

Likes

Campus and social life as it provides a great exposure
Sports culture is very good with different varieties of sports
Not that much strictness in attendance of 75 percentage.

Dislikes

Food provided in the hostel mess is the most disliked thing in the college.
The location of college is not that much good as very few places to visit in kurukshetra.

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit our campus this year including Microsoft , uber, LinkedIn,etc . The highest package offered is 66lpa and average package for COE branch is 18 lpa and for electrical branch it is 14 lpa. More than 85 % students are placed in EE and 98% for COE and IT. And I am also planning to take tech placement.

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.
You can make a lot of friends but make sure to choose wisely for your well-being
The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The college is well equipped and has good infrastructure. The students have access to playgrounds, swimming pools, etc

Academics at NIT Kurukshetra

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.
This institute has an amazing library with a rich collection of books and periodicals
The faculty support is commendable here and this institute has an abundant alumni network
The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
