All you need to know about NIT KKR (Kurukshetra)

The flexibilty of course that one can go in varous fileds from here that is intom IT filed or into core side or into can prepare for exams like GATE CAT UPSC etc. It is a highly intensive real world based program and trains students for even most intense situation in real world, in terms of relevance it is highly relevant with the ongoing world shortage of semicondutor chips and requires you too focus well

The intership opportunities are quite here but not upto that as good as placements as companies like Anand group, TCS , CDS hire from here also institutions like DRDO ISRO also hire from here, the avg stipend offered is around 20000 per mont for a 2 month internship.

The students are eligible for placements for 7th sem and companies start to come at that time only th e palcement is very good the avg pacakage for CSe is 21lpa and that for IT and ECE is 20 lpa and 17 lpa respectively and almost all students are placed and if not they either pursue their higher studies or prepare for competitive exams.

There is Tution fee waiver for financially eak students if your family income is less than 1lac there is no tution fee and if it is between 1l and 5lac only 40 percent of tution fee is applied .Campus employement opportunitites are very high as there is a program int which if student is unable to get an internship outside they can do it under professor in Seimens building which is build with state of the art equipments and facilities

There are in total 3 fest the technical fest called techspardha the cultural fest called Confluence and the sports fest citius all of them are flagship festivals of kurukshetra and most iits and nits participate an compete in them. The classrooms arre fitted with smart tv and upto 10 AC and the amenities provided in the college is exceptional , almost any sport can be played in the sports compex even swimming (olympic size).

The hostel seat rent and mess fee changes semester to semester and hostel to hostel but generallly they are between 15000 to 30000 but the amenitites provided in the hostel are not good and meal qualities are good but after a certain time become monotous .

I got through the jee mains with a rank of 14117 and jee adv rank 10066 and i chose nit kurukshetra as my first choice and got my seat in CSAB special round 1 and the application fees for jee mains changes year to year but it was around 600 to 700 rupees and it is held twice a year now once around january and second time around april, the difficulty of jee mains is a little above than 12th boards and requires serious prep.
