Course Curriculum Overview

The course B.Tech Computer Engineering is very interesting to me. I'm learning a lot of skills and knowledge as being in this course. This course prepares me for the placements and interview of big MNCs like FAANG.

I'm in first year of College. I'm not doing any internship at present. But there are many internship opportunities in the College. After being in 2nd or 3rd year we can start internship providing great skills and knowledge to us.

Placement Experience

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra has released the placement statistics for the academic year 2022-23. As per NIT Kurukshetra placement 2022-23, the highest package stood at INR 62.5 LPA. The average package at NIT Kurukshetra remains at INR 14.16 LPA. The institute has a separate dedicated placement cell that offers multiple job opportunities in various multinational companies. Top recruiters that participate in the NIT Kurukshetra placement 2023 session are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and others. NIT Kurukshetra median package for the B.Tech program stood at INR INR 11.07 LPA. The placement statistics differ for each course offered by the institute. As per NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech placement 2023, a total of 662 students got placed amounting to a placement percentage of 75.74%. My plans after getting the degree is to be placed as soon as possible with a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees of my course is about 1.5 lac per year. And hostel fees is about 80k per year. There is no other charges. Placements in my college. As per NIT Kurukshetra placement 2022-23, the highest package stood at INR 62.5 LPA. The average package at NIT Kurukshetra remains at INR 14.16 LPA. Campus Life

The overall experience of the campus life is very great to me. The campus is very big and it has a lot of greenery. There are fests held at the campus like TECH Spardha, Confluence etc. Coming to the library, it's Library is very big and well stocked and maintained. There are many books available related to courses and fictional and non fictional also. Sports ground of my college is very big and there are almost all types of sports available. Also there is a gym in the sports complex which is well equipped with the gym machines. Also there are many clubs and societies in my college like TechnoByte, biggest tech society in the north India.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels of first year are very big and good. It has a total number of 12 hostel, 9 for boys (three boys hostels are triple bedded and the rest are single bedded. All the rooms in Post-graduate hostel are single bedded) and 3 for girls (namely Alaknanda Bhawan, Bhagirathi Bhawan and Cauvery Bhawan have the total capacity of 610 seats for B. Tech and Post graduate students. All the hostels are well maintained and equipped with the facilities. Coming to the meal and menu, its quality is decent. Registration process was very smooth to me

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I applied in the college admission through jossa. I got reservation of Home state. Cutoff for Computer Engineering in 2023 was about 3k rank in jee mains. The admission process was very smooth. It took one whole day to me for the admission.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Likes

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Learning beyond classrooms at Puran Murti Campus.

Likes

I liked the environment alot. The infrastructure is very good.
The food court is also very good and provide good food on affordable price.
I like the teachers alot they are very easygoing and friendly to communicate with.

Dislikes

I don't like the uniform system as they ask us to wear it daily.
There should be days atleast once a week where we can wear casuals in college.
The teachers are very strict about the study.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

My college experience is very good.There are a lot of activities held in our college including fests whetger technical or cultural.Most of our memories made through these fests.They are the most important memorable days of our life.Beside the studies there are a lot of things which effect a lot.One must enjoy the beautiful moments of his College Life .

This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. admission is done through JEE Mains exam and counselling done through JOSAA counselling .NITs have 50 % state Quota . Counseling is conducted in 6 rounds and then 2 special rounds. JEE main is 3 hour exam of 300 marks with +4 for every correct - 1 for negative answers...Read More
