Abundant opportunities with DMS, PIET

Likes

learning and growing opportunities in terms of National Fests.
Infrastructure be it library, labs, club spaces
Faculty involvement was really high with the students.

Dislikes

Nothing as such to be disliked about the institution.
Sometimes it is about the crowd that gets admitted.
Students may come from different parts of the state to learn less but enjoy more.

Placement Experience:

Students in semester 3 of MBA can sit for placements. Ed-tech companies were major chunk of the placement visits. Almost 60% of my batchmates were placed and other either opted out of placements or started their business.

That’s was amazing experience for me

Environment should be changed, teachers are very supportive
Campus was good,all the teachers and friends are very friendly
Faculty was good, teaching methods are very unique

Dislikes

Environment ,uniform that was not good to wear
Too long route to my place that was not good part
Everything was good but canteen mess is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

U like to do job but my parents are not allowed ,,way of talking and behaviour which is improving by teachers and students too..timing of xams are 3 hours and I enjoyed it more than classes.but cams are very tuff

Review of KUK as a Correspondent Student

Likes

The way of explaining the related topic of study and answering questions of students when asked to the faculty members.
The group discussion organised by teachers from time to time.
Explaining of relevant topics from time to time.

Dislikes

Not many classes were scheduled for students during the final semesters
Engagement of teachers in other oders by govt like elections duties etc.
Irregular intervals from teachers from time to time.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good enough from KUK as it is A+ grade University. KUK students have performed very well during the campus placement and also many of the students have shown their skills in government service also. But the campus placement can be improved as KUK is a government university and they do not try much to offer good placements to the students now a days.

Sometimes the class and other parts was dirty like bathroom but almost its rare chances

My course in mba in major finance i choose this course because its really helpful in my building future and that time i am done summer internship for this course and its a really a wonderful experience for me ..they take semester exams and timing was 3 hours

Likes

the environment is quiet good and the university have good infrastructure
canteens facilities are provided outside departments
the roads are near and clean and are maintained

Dislikes

not much curricular activities in the university
Air conditioning facilities are not in the classroom
hostel timings needs to be changed for girls

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by the department are of only marketing All the students of finance, hr and marketing are provided with the marketing job. Every year ICICI comes for the mass recruitment and takes up thw students. The package provided are of around 4-5 lakhs. All most 70% of the students gets placements and rest are left with no placements.

Likes

Infrastructure is good compared to the other colleges of Radaur and Yamunanagar
Best college for IT and CSE in Yamunanagar or Radaur.

Dislikes

College is not really good for mba and faculty is not so helpful.
Placement and training coordinator only helps in placement which is also not so good.
No help in securing good internships and no information about the training programmes of big companies.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for all courses are average. There are just some exceptions. Placement rate of mba and bba is 100% as per their claim but the quality of placement are not so good. So overall experience of placement is average.

Likes

Thier pc condition are very good and new pcs are installed
All the classes are fully air conditioned which helps in study and seat comfortable
Faculty members are very intelligent and supportive

Dislikes

Ground facilities are not so good as we need
So much restriction in go and come in campus
Water facilities are not good some time we didn't get pure water

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester students are eligible to sit in placement process and they help us to get ready for that Some companies like Shri Ram and any other gave good placement offers Highest package is 10 lakh and average is 4-5 lakh companies mostly offered 60-65% student get placed normally I want to get the good job after the degree

There is very much greenery in campus which make very clean environment
Staff members are very qualified and many of them are professors which is very Beneficial for us
There is very much hygienic food availability and provide daily fresh food

Dislikes

There are many restrictions in our college in come and go outside
Transport facilities are not so good and they are not comfortable for us
They are very strict in many cases like student can’t use lifts

After 2nd semester they provide us eligibility to sit in placements at that state we are ready with our skills and knowledge. Recently Shree Ram group and hike education company visited and they provided a very good offer. The highest package is around 15 lakh and the average package is around 6 lakh. Approx. 70 percent of students get placement which is a very good number. I want to go for a good job.

staff members are very good and helps very much in our problems
infrastructure is also very good and cleaned that was also the reason i opt this college
practical knowledge and communication skills are also very huge in faculty

Dislikes

there are many strictness regarding as we are post graduate students and adult one
there are too many lectures in a day but according to me 4-5 are enough
rigid rules and regulations lioe attendance and not using lifts

Placement Experience:

after the 3rd semester, they gave us the opportunity to sit in placement before they gave us the training to get ready for that some companies visited like Hdfc which gave a very good package. approx 65-70 percent of students get placed. I want to get a job on campus after degree.

Infrastructure of the campus is wonderful. Greenery is amazing.
Faculties were quite supportive of the college. They were supportive, hardworkers.
Anti ragging cell is there in the campus in order to maintain the discipline and dignity

Placement Experience:

Students after 1st year were eligible for campus placements. Various regional, nearby along with good companies visited the college for the placements every year. 70% was the average percentage of students achieving after their degree.

Kurukshetra University isn’t good in terms of academics. The results aren’t declared in time. The evaluation system isn’t good. The course curriculum isn’t up to date. Coursework usually includes subjects that aren’t related to the stream. The teaching approach followed by the university is theory-oriented. You won’t get much hands-on practical learning experience.
