I choose MCA course from kurukshetra university as my some friends told me about the curriculum in the university as they give more focus on practical rather then theory so i choose this and mainly the teachers they were so humble and kind towards everyone no gender discrimintion and mainly girls are very safe there. the curriculum prepared me for real world applications by giving me practical knowledge and telling me about the companies. Labs should be more enhanced so that students can practice smoothly and there should be less pressure of exams as they take exams in every month. The exam difficulty level is easy to moderate no so hard that every student can do that.

Placements are not so useful and good for legal department. Because no one wants to go to small legal firms which don't have potential to make future. Generally students don't prefer to get placed in co-operate firms as it does not gave any practical help in future in you leave them.

PIET is known for its placements. I chose PIET over other institutes mainly because of the placements. For the final placements, PIET started preparing us right from the first semester. The Career Advancement Cell organizes seminars, workshops, and program oriented training programs where companies and their funders come to share their insights. Companies from IT, Electronics and service actively participate in these seminars and workshops. My aptitude skills were not that good when i joined PIET, but now, after one year of regular skill development classes organized by CAC, my score has increased, and i hope that before the last semester, i will get a job in my dream company.

The Career Advancement Cell of PIET handles placements. It organizes joint placement drives on campus to provide jobs to students. Also, the CAC cell provides training related to personality development and skill development, and organizes workshops and mock interview sessions. In the last two years, i have seen more than 6 placement drives where my seniors got jobs with good salary package. My English speaking skills are not that good, but after joining the CAC classes, i feel condident while communicating in English.

For Pharmacy students, companies like Cipla, Zydus Lifesciences, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries are active recruiters. Over 240+ recruiters have visited PIET till now to recruit students, and more than 6000 students have been placed. My hostel mate, who is my senior and also from the same program, got a job with a package of 6 LPA in a pharmaceutical company, where he works as a senior pharmacist, and he grabbed that opportunities with the help of the Career Advancement Cell, which is a dedicated department of PIET for placements.

Placements at PIET are part of the curriculum; the day you join the college, your placement journey starts. Since our classes start, our training also starts through the Career Advancement Cell; every week, there are classes from communication professionals, infdustry experts, founders, etc. Also, CAC organizes joint placement drives where recruiters hire talented students from the campus. Companies like Amazon, IBM, TCS and Siemens are top recruiters. Also, CAC organizes mock interview sessions where we can get the live interview experience here on campus.

The Career Advancement Cell of PIET is very active, and it supports us right from the start of the program. It provides special training and organizes skill development sessions, mock interview sessions, and joint placement drives. TCS, Cloud Certitude, Capgemini, and Genpact are active recruiters that visit the campus to recruit students. A few months back, i met an MCA alumnus who got a job at Capgimini through campus placements, and that gave me a sense of satisfaction that i chose that best college.

The curriculum for BCA (AI & ML) at PIET is designed according to current industry standards. It focuses on practical learning through internships and hands-on exposure through mentorship program and industry visits. The aspect which made me choose PIET over other colleges is the strong industry collaborations, as PIET has MoUs with organizations such as ICT Academy and Code Quotient Mohali. These collaborations provide us opportunities to participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars.

I will be honest, the placement season has always terrified me. But the vibe on campus makes me feel like anything is possible. When the highest package 45 LPA, it was like a huge motivator for all of us MCA students. I have seen seniors spend hours in training sessions for big names like Cloud Analogy, Source Sodt Solutions, and Aditya Birla. It's tough, but when i see my seniors getting placed in roles they actually love, I know the hard work is paying off and i will also get opportunities when my time comes.

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.
