Remarks:

Our college is very good and if you make it in our college through the cut off list then dont think twice before applying because it will be worth it. The canteen may not be one of the best ones when it comes to food but it has all the nescafe products, cakes and chips and chocolates so you won't remain hungry and the academics is really very good with a supportive college environment.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the colleges are average as most of the graduates don't get job after graduation. This is because still our college is new and corporate outsides, don't know the existence of our college. But the placement cell of Ramanujan college works hard and is able to secure placement in some of the best firms for its students,.campus jobs and internship interviews are very common which allows the students to get employed without any hassle.

It is an all-girls college which is actually situated off-campus but it is worth studying in it. It is an arts and commerce college. It doesn't have science stream. Still, the college has good and positive vibes all around which encourages the students to study.

I would surely give positive remarks to my college. College has a good reputation in the Delhi University and it serves as one of the best Commerce colleges of DU. The college excels in all the fields - academic, faculty, infrastructure and curriculum. I will surely refer my friends and juniors to join the college but of course after getting attention 95% in class 12th.

Everything is good in the college. The only thing is they need to improve the canteen food. The food available is no doubt of good quality but not that much tasty. However, they provide a lot of variety of food. Other than that, th e college is really good at everything.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of college is one of the best as compare to other colleges. I like my administrative building a lot as it's in a circular shape and provides a very attractive look. As my college is based on the name of a legendary patriot of our country so a memorial is being placed just in front of the gate of my college. The memorial provides a very positive environment and magical vibes.

What is your review of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University?

Rajgeet JoshiStudied BCom (Hons) at Sri Venkateswara College Delhi University (Graduated 2013)

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

  1. Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.

  2. Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.

  3. Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.

  4. Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.

  5. Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.

  6. Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.

How good is DUs Satyawati College?

Prajwal TiwariStudied at Satyawati College, University of Delhi

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.

Is a BA programme a good course if I do it from DU?

Neha Rani
Prakriti RainaLLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

BA at DU can be BA (Program), BA (Hons), and in Honors, you can take the specialization course in Economics, Political Science, History, English, Hindi, Geography, and so on.

Furthermore, if you expect to get a higher percentage in BA courses, you are mistaken. Students at Delhi University typically receive very low grades. The average score is between 51 and 58%. It would not surprise me if someone became a University topper with only 58% of the marks.

So, just for the DU brand, choose the BA program and if you want to work in the civil service, you're on the right track.

How good is Indraprastha College of DU in reality?

Sanjana SinghStudied at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi

Seeing hundreds of girls daily can be overwhelming if you attend a co-ed school. But you'll get used to it. Despite its proximity to North Campus, it is no less than an off-campus college. The typical North campus atmosphere is missing. However, Kamla Nagar and GTB Nagar are only a few minutes away by autorickshaw.

The college canteen is not that good. It's vegetarian, and the menu isn't particularly appealing. The chole kulche and chaats available outside the college are tasty. Rolls Club, located near the metro station, serves delicious Chilli chicken rolls.

The professors, like all other DU colleges, are uninvolved concerning what you do outside of class. However, keep your attendance above 40%, at all costs. There are no language restrictions. If you don't understand something in English, teachers are willing to teach you again in Hindi. Most professors, at least.

In a semester, each paper has only two exams. There are no class tests otherwise.

There is no AC, only fans. You can go to the library for AC during your free period. The library is phenomenal for a government college. It has three floors with a lift and an online system to determine where books are kept. There is an ICT lab with internet access.

You must make your own college life enjoyable. You will meet many incredible women who will inspire you with their grace, intelligence, courage, speaking abilities, and pure hearts.

How is Swami Shraddhanand College of DU?

Sherina PhutelaStudied at Swami Shraddhanand College,University of Delhi

Swami Shraddhanand College is located on North Campus. Because of its location and management, it cannot be compared to any other DU college.

However, when you consider the foundation of a college, namely education and extracurricular activities, in terms of education, SSNC's History Department ranks among the top ten in Delhi University for some specific courses, along with the courses like Microbiology, Life Science, Botany, and Geography, SSNC. Aside from that, there is the well-known Cricket team, which has been a champion for the past decade or so.

Is Ramanujan College DU a good choice?

Mrunal KapoorStudied at University of Delhi

It would be an excellent choice. It became an independent morning college in 2013, and its growth has been phenomenal since then. Ramanujan College has it all: amazing campus life and a fantastic learning environment. NAAC has awarded it a Grade A++ and a GPA of 3.71. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021, it is also ranked 53rd in the college category, with an overall score of 54.68.

Here are some distinguishing characteristics that set Ramanujan apart from the crowd:

  1. Excellent Location: The college is in a prime location in Kalkaji, close to Epicuria, McD, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and other restaurants. You will never run out of places to party.

  2. Societies: This section is the college's true treasure. JAZBA, NSS, DNA, Shivranjani, Tark, TATVA, and other societies have always made the college proud.

  3. Experienced Faculty: Friendly and cooperative.

  4. Infrastructure: The building's infrastructure distinguishes it from all other DU colleges. The college has the best infrastructure in DU, with all modern amenities.

  5. Crowd: It's almost a nurturing environment, with seniors eager to assist and juniors willing to collaborate. The college environment is always pumped up with some event, campaign, rally, or other activity that inspires students.

Go ahead and enroll in Ramanujan College if you're interested in that now. You will never be regretful of your choice. You'll be presented with numerous opportunities here; all you have to do is seize them wisely. Ramanujan, as the name implies, has an excellent academic record, but the authorities are extremely strict. You must have a certain percentage of attendance in order to take the semester exam.
