Remarks

I had both positive and negative remark about my college, the positive thing about that the facilities are very good and they gave a quality of education to study and the negative remark that there is a lot of politics in college to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course for which I study is pretty good due to the I learn new subjects such as taxation, company law, accountancy and various others law which makes me more confident regarding my study which I earned it.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, in the college I study provide the lot of internships for students and alot of companies came in the final year of college and placed the students for their companies and the students choose the best companies to place.

Placement Experience

The placement and the job opportunities was pretty good, as I was selected in one of the companies names Aegis private limited for which I worked for them for 6 months and get a lot of new things to learn

College Events

There is a lot of festivals in my college for which I being a part of that and a lot of celebrities came in my college and due to my college I get a chances to meet them which is a very best experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of my college is preety feasible because I remember that the fees structure of my college is not very expensive because I pay 10000 every year as a fee structure which I thought pretty adequate.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lot of scholarship provide by the college because a lot of my friends who get the admission due to scholarship, I never availed for scholarship but a lot of my friends do Nd they study as a scholar in college.

Campus Life

There is a lot of extracurricular activities which provide my college Nd I always being a part of cricket and play for my college because cricket is my hobby and for playing cricket I leave a lot of lectures for that.

Hostel Facilities

I can easily rate the hostel infrastructure and facilities because I live in the college hostel for the 2 years of my college and the infrastructure I lived on and the facilities I availed is good and awesome.

Alumni/Alumna

In the first year of my college I had a lot of seniors and I remember one day I have no money to eat in college canteen and I don't have even lunch to do, so my senior offer me some money to eat in college which is very special for me.

Exam Structure

The structure of exam is amazing We had 2 semisters every year Nd the weight of every examination carries 100 marks which is quite different to score good marks for that we had to lot of study which is good for study.

Admission

I got a very good marks in my class 12 Nd I got around 93%, so I apply for the college and I eligible to get admission in that college due to my percentage falls in the college cutoff so I apply and I get the admission.

Faculty

The faculty of my college is pretty good actually they were very supporting with me, I remembered the first day of my college I was 30 minutes late iny first lecture but the faculty with me is very light and good.

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
