- I like the exposure a person gets here by his/her seniors as senior junior relationship here is what I must say the best I have ever seen
- The campus is one of the best in the nation so u have a lot of space for everything

- The very bad gender ratio in college, the ratio here is 1:5
- Hostel food very bad as there are no spices in it.

Placement Experience:
From 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and from 5 th semester they are eligible for internships every one who is going to sit for a placement can get a job highest package is about 2-3cr and average is about 20 lakhs

- Excellent sports facilities and infrastructure for every sport one is interested in. Well maintained fields, courts, equipments provides exceptional feeling being here.
- Being in the heart of Delhi, college is well connected with the city having two metro stations just outside campus so students have very much freedom to explore the city and other commuting purposes
Dislikes
- i fell that some professors don't teach with that enthusiam which eventually leads to some students losing interest in the course and then leaving classes subsequently
- so much politics is prevalent for position of reponsibilties (POR) for different clubs and boards among students which leads to polarization , distraction, stress among students
Placement Experience:
Being such a reputed college, the placements here are excellent. Students from the final year sat for placements and from pre-final year sat for internships. Every major company visits the college like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, Jane Street. Last year, the highest package was 4 cr from Jane Street. From the statistics of last year around 93% percent of the students were placed who sat for placements. Companies come for profiles like software engineer, Quant Trader, Consulting, Management, etc.

- Great hostel culture, we have developed a bond with our fellow hostelmates in no time
- Extra curriculars and sports amenities are excellent. One can try out some sport or extracurricular activity and might actually excel in it
Dislikes
- Boys is to girls ratio is disappointing, its like we have around 1 girl for every 7 boys.
- Hectic schedule, we have classs from 9 am, someitmes even from 8am, and we are stuck till 5.00 pm.
Placement Experience:
Students generally sit for ppo in the 3rd year end itself. Internships start from 2nd year or mostly from mid 3rd year. The placements are good compared to all other engineering institutes in our country. A lot of mncs and multinational companies do visit like google, microsoft, deutsche bank, Fujitsu etc. Almost all the candidates get placed except for few who might not consider sitting in the placements or might prefer higher studies. The highest package received till date is around 2 crores. The avg package is around 15 to 18 LPA.

- Infrastructure is just too good and campus is very big.

- Sometimes the food in mess is not that good.

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is a body named ocs, which takes care of all the opportunities I e internship and placements. This year placement season hasn't ended yet and hence we don't know the full statistics. Almost all students that opt for placement get a placement. My plan after my degree is to sit in the placement season and get a decent placement

There are pre placement offers. Students from 7 and 8 semester are eligible for campus placements and after graduation. Various companies like Amazon, Infosys,Wipro and many others.almost all students get placed.

- BRCA night was amazing. It's an event for the freshers.
- Rendezvous was also amazing. It is a four day event.

- Minors were quite tough. The minor week is very hectic.
- Majors always took our peaceful sleep from us

Students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year. In December, companies visit our campus and conduct various rounds for hiring, including a coding round, IQ test and an interview. Approximately 90% of the students are placed.

- Rooms facilities and other infrastructure.
- The academic pressure is too much here and can make it difficult.
Placement Experience:
students become eligible for internships in the third year and placements in the fourth year. almost all the top companies come and offer a number of jobs every year. average package is around 28-30 lac per annum ctc.

- The night life of the college is amazing. Night messes are open till 4 am.
- The intelligent brains all around you, helps to ush your limits.
Dislikes
- A lot of syllabus is taught. Work pressure is high.
- Difficult to score in exams and maintain good cgpa.
Placement Experience:
Campus Placements - From the 7th semester onwards. There is no such company that had come to IIT Delhi and made no offer. The average package is 15-20lpa and the highest package is 1crore+ . (all in INR) Around 80% of students are placed in IIT Delhi. My plan is to do a job for some years and then do an MBA.

- Toughness of academics and frequency of exams
- Less focused teaching towards students.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are very nice. After 6 semesters students sit in placements. Top multinational companies visits including Amazon, Flipkart, Jane Street, Adobe, Microsoft and Google, etc. Placement is about 90 percent in my stream.

- Hostel building is very old and weak. Repairs not done properly
- Sometimes course load is too much and you have to study all day and all night

From the 7th semester onwards you become eligible for placements. Companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Optiver, Uber, Quadeye, Google, Microsoft, and tower visit for placements. Placement rate is above 90%. I plan to opt for higher studies after my b.tech.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?
The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
