IIIT Delhi and IIT Delhi Hosted COMPASS 2024

New Delhi: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) and Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) have jointly hosted the 'COMPASS 2024,' an esteemed international event conceptualised by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The event was held from July 08 to July 11, 2024 at the IIIT Delhi campus.

Informing about the event, Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director of IIIT-Delhi said, "We are honoured to host COMPASS 2024 at IIIT-Delhi. This event aligns perfectly with our mission to drive forward-thinking research and innovation. It is an excellent opportunity for scholars and practitioners to collaborate and exchange ideas that contribute to sustainable development".

As per IIT Delhi, the four-day event included various engaging activities such as interactive keynote sessions, paper presentations, panel discussions, short video screenings, and specialised presentations on critical areas such as education, sustainability, agriculture, finance, and labour.

The event was held with the support of prominent sponsors, including Google, Microsoft Research, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Amarnath and Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology, the Centre for Design and New Media (CDNM) at IIIT-Delhi, and the Infosys Centre of Artificial Intelligence at IIIT-Delhi.
