- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- Campus life is worth living. The peer group is amazing to compete with.
- Also the campus is very diversified and there are so many opportunities for one to explore .
- There are almost all world class resources including sports facitlites ,different clubs, classrooms and faculty members.
Dislikes
- There is no such con of being IITD, as it gives you a variety of opportunities and such a big reputation and a brand Tag
- Still , the hostels need a renovation ,also a good maintenance.
- Also the mess food needs to be improved a lot.
Placement Experience:
Almost all the students on campus are eligible for oncampus placements,
there werer around 450-500 companies and around 1400-1500 offers for placement
Highest placement was of around 4cr(International) offered by jane street ,a hong kong based quantative analysis firm,
and average was around 11-15 lakhs for domestic .

Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements at the end of the third year and internships at the end of the 2nd year.
Almost all the big giants in the tech field and analytics and consulting field visit our campus including BCG, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Jane Street, and Optiver.
Almost everyone gets placed with crore packages and very modest paying packages.

- I liked the Campus life here as there are many friends and a nice peer group.
- The placements here are awesome and has high percentage.
- Infrastructure of IIT Delhi is the finest in my opinion as there are many amazingly shaped buildings here.
Dislikes
- Nothing as such I found everything amazing here.
- Sometimes the Attendance Policy irritates.
- The professors are bit strict here and want everything on time.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible in the last year for the placements.
The companies that visit are BCG, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.
The highest package is around 2 crores and the average is around 14 lakhs.
Almost all the students are placed.
My plan is to get a placement or go for MBA.

- College life, and the clubs excited me and helped me learn
- Location of the campus is great and most places are accessible
- Bothe the Main gate and the hostel gate have a metro station just outside
Dislikes
- Most professors are very un-chill and require strict guidelines to be adhered to
- Labs for this course in particular are very boring
- Gets too hectic and hard to manage at times
Placement Experience:
The placements are good.
You can sit for placements at the start of your final year. A decent proportion of students get a place, however, the 1cr package is unheard of for the Textile branch, or even in the college at large, of the 1200+ students, only 3-4 get it

- Overall system and conduction of various fests
- Campus is green, spacious and eco-friendly and in good locality
- Facilities are excellent with great exposure to the real world
Dislikes
- Nothing apart from slow replies of the administration
- Some courses are irrelevant but without them you cannot get your degree
- Sometimes professors give bad grades and there should be a better system in place to give good grades.
Placement Experience:
In the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for the placements. Various big companies such as BCG, Bain etc visit the campus during this time and most students get placed with good packages and good positions.

- The night life of campus and all the night messes.
Dislikes
- I dont like the labs we have to attend them daily for long hours
- Hostel infrastructure the hostel is very old
- Some group of students who bully others.

The course curriculum is already on iit Delhi's course pdf from there we can access the details of our degree and courses and also the credit requirement for the degree the course curriculum is decent and manageable if you study regularly and the faculty members are very helpful and experienced

Placement Experience:
The campus placements start around the seventh-semester and end in December. Generally, most students are placed with a large number going for tech roles while consulting finance core is also an option. The package offered is nice, in comparison to other colleges in India

- Fests are really lit here. Never miss that.
- Easy access to many labs and professors in many fields.

Internship stats are not good as placement stats, but ya student potential can grab the highest placements
most of the companies also do come for the internship like amazon, TCS, google, reliance and many more

Course Curriculum Overview:
As I am the kind of student who wants to explore different fields all along academics textile is the best course for the same because it provides you with ample of time after academics, I opt for this course because I want time after I finish my academics.
Faculty Student Ration is around 1:15.
Many faculties have PhDs from well-reputed institutes abroad including Ivy Leagues.
The exams are often challenging and averages go low. They occur frequently which helps us to test our knowledge in less interval of time which further provides benefits for our final examination.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
