Course Curriculum Overview

My course is b.tech in textile and fiber engineering for 4 years. faculty-student ratio 1:15. faculties are well qualified most of them are post graduates from abroad. the exams are often challenging and averages go low.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google offer internships but not good as placements offers. some of the students get good stipend like 33 lakhs for 2-3 months. some students work on projects under faculties.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good at iit Delhi. Many of the students get good offers from good companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and many more multinational companies. generally, 3rd-year students get placement offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee charged by the institute per semester is 1 lakh and some extra charges for using the facilities of the institute. many scholarship programs run by institutes and governments. 100% fee waiver for those whose family income is less than 1lakh and sc/st student.

Campus Life

Campus Life is full of enjoyment when fests are held. rendezvous is a 4-day cultural fest. many celebrities perform in this event. tryst is the annual tech fest. all types of sports facilities are available. many clubs run by students BRCA is one of them.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is kumaon. It is one of the oldest hostels of iit Delhi. mess food quality is very good and also a variety of food is available. the hostel is very clean and well-maintained. we have our own clubs at the hostel level. also, a healthy sports competition between other hostels is held per year called gc(general championships).

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

For admission in iit Delhi, you have to qualify to jee advanced which is one of the very difficult entrance exams in India. also, you have to score 75% on your 12th.application form and many details are available on jee advanced official website.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

IIT Delhi is close to my hometown and is ranked no. 2. It offers best faculty in Chemical engineering. IIT Bombay was rejected because of inability of getting a good branch there.
