IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students in their 7th semester are eligible for campus placement also some students get pre placement offers from the companies they internet in their 3rd year.Average package is around 15 lpa and maximum package goes around 1.5-2 crore per annum in quant companies.

For campus placements, you become eligible in the 7th semester. Companies visited include Google Microsoft, etc. 70%+ get placed. Rest don't choose placements they go for startups or research on their own.

everyone is familiar that iits provide excellent campus placements, many large mncs visit iitd campus and this happens in Dec first week, most of the high 1-2cr packages are done on day 1 itself, this time I also volunteered in the placement working ocs to get to know how the whole system works

The highest package is greater than 1 crore almost every year and the median package is around 18 lakhs. My plans are to sit for placement in the seventh semester of my degree.

The college offers good placement opportunities. Various companies such as Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. visit the campus. My plans after getting a degree are to find a good job and gain experience from that.

Many top companies such as Microsoft and Google come to recruit students. The highest package this year was 4 crores. Apart from these many other top companies and consultancy companies also visit for placements. The average package is around 15-20 lakh. My plan after getting a degree is to pursue a master's degree in physics.

During the third year, you will be eligible for internships. During the fourth year, you will be eligible for applying for full-time positions. For both, the placements, training, and placement cell organizes such activities. You have to talk to them to proceed with the applications.

I don't think that placement should be the topic of discussion as the college is popular of its high placement offers. The college maintains a record of 100% placements. The highest placement offer of the college goes up to 2 CPA and the college average salary offer is around 25 LPA. The placement cell of the college is full of experienced faculty members and they have very good industrial experiences which help them to train us for the placement process and interview rounds.
