As a third year student of MCE at DTU, I can only tell you about my college and branch- The curriculum of MCE is a mixture of Mathematics, Computer Science and Finance. This branch will equip you for a career in three fields. The focus is more on Mathematics, but CS is an important part. MCE offers good placements. Graduates get job offers from top brands like Amazon, Flipkart, etc. MCE gives competition to well-established branches like CoE, IT, SE, etc. in this aspect. DTU is a well-recognized institution with a strong alumni network. More than 250 companies visit the campus every year during the placement season. Mathematics faculty is top-notch, while CS faculty is average. If you want to focus solely on programming, choose CSE at IIIT Delhi. MCE offers programming knowledge alongside advanced Mathematical studies. It will help you design and understand really complex solutions. At the end, the choice must be based on your personal preference.

Which should my daughter choose, a CSE from IGDTUW or a ECE from NSIT/DTU/IIIT Delhi?

The choice between CSE from IGDTUW and ECE from NSIT/DTU/IIIT depends on the goals of your daughter. If she is planning to pursue higher studies like MS or a Ph.D., then IIIT Delhi is a decent choice as it’s a research-oriented college. But if she is looking for a job, then IIIT Delhi will offer limited opportunities. This is because getting a job in Core ECE companies like Western Digital and Qualcomm is not easy, as these companies prioritize master students. A few talented students do get placed in Software firms. In IIIT Delhi first year is the same for both CSE and ECE during which the students are taught Introduction to Programming, System Management, Computer Organisation, Data Structure, and Digital Circuits. Your chances of placement also depend on your CGPA which should be preferably above 7. IIIT Delhi offers the flexibility to choose the CSE courses, provided that you complete the minimum credits requirement in the last two years of B.Tech for the degree. In all, I feel, that NSIT and DTU will offer great job opportunities because of their brand name but IIIT Delhi will teach you new things and also offer research opportunities So it’s best to go for NSIT or DTU or IIIT Delhi. Choose wisely.

Faculty and Curriculum - The professors are highly knowledgeable and supportive , The curriculum is well- strutured and industry- relevant , focusing on both theoretical knowledge and pratical application.

Fee Structure: The fees are on the higher side, and scholarships could be expanded to benefits more students.

Tuition Fees is 2,29,000 per year , Caution money or security money is 10000. Registration fee is 1,500 for one time. Development fees is including fees. Lab fees is not applicable for MBA. DSM, DTU a great b school with great roi.

The fee structure for the program is different for every specialization, but the total fee for most of the streams such as Marketing, Financial Management, IT Management, and HRM comes out to be approximately ?2.53 lakhs. The fee for the Executive MBA is much higher and stands at approximately ?3.56 lakhs for two years.

One of the standout features is the emphasis on practical learning
The curriculum covers essential fields like Finance HR and Marketing.

Few subjects curriculum is old which is need to be updated.
Pressure of assignments and presentation are really high.

Total fee for the 2 years full time MBA at DTU is 450000 and charges for the mess is around 26000 per year. There is scholarship program for defense, police department, sports and unprivileged people.
