- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

In my computer science branch, almost everyone gets placed. The highest package of this year is 60 lakh. In this college, about 80 % of students get placed. After getting a degree I really want to focus on some startups.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 4th year onwards. Companies such as amazon, optimum, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, etc visit our campus. The highest package is 55 lakhs by adobe. Almost 80-90 % of students get placed

Placement Experience:
The college is having good placement and the college is working very hard to improve and increase its placement packages every year. The placement committee is good and professional. The college has a record of 100% placement and the highest salary package was around 18 LPA and the average salary package was around 9.75 LPA. The college placement committee is the one that guides us during the college placement drives.

Placement Experience:
The placement starts from 7th semester that is the starting of 4th year. The are so many companies which visit every year like wipro, vedanta etc. The average pakage is near about 7 l.p.a. About 50 percent of students get placed every year. My plans after graduation is to do MBA.

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements, many companies visit our campus for placements. Major companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, etc.
Above 75 percent of students will be placed by the time they leave the college.
Computer science and IT branches maintain a good placement record over the years.

From the fourth year, the students are eligible for campus placement.
The campus placement is pretty much good for my branch of electrical engineering it is about 9.5 average package. The highest package of our college is 55 lacs which is offered to 4 Students.

Placements are great in nit Raipur, also it has ranked the top six in case of placements among all nits, your placement drives start from the sixth semester, which is 3-2, nearly 150-200 companies conduct placement drive on campus, nearly everyone gets placed on campus, highest salary offered is 55 lakhs, and the average salary is eight lakh per annum. Most companies offer jobs based on coding skills, nearly 90% of students get placed on campus, I want to get placed in good company and do a job.

This college is best for placement scenarios, you will get 100% placement in each course. The big multinational company comes to hire students and offers a good amount of package based on their merits. Amazon, Flipkart, and so many companies are coming every year

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to participate in the placement procedure after the 6th sem but in some companies also 5th sem students are allowed. the companies visited for mining branch are Tata, coal India, Vedanta, Adani, Ambuja cement, Prism cement, Orica Mining. Mining students also got placement in IT fields with companies like TCS, Zs, Wipro, Kantar etc. Mining students get an average package of 8LPA with the highest 12 to lowest range 6.5 LPA. approximately 70% of students get placed in Mining. I am going to join MNC.

Company visited were infosys. Wipro , Tcs, vedanta, bsp etc.Highest package our college got was 52 lakhs that too from adobe company i don't know the profile offered although i think it is software development

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
