Is it good to pursue Bachelor of Architecture from NIT Raipur?

One of my friends pursued his B.Arch from NIT Raipur. According to his experience, a Bachelor of Architecture from NIT Raipur is not a good option. The faculty quality is average. Nit Raipur experience

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am from general category without ews so my course fees is 62000 for odd semister and 68000 for even semister and the Good thing was the hostel fee was 54000 per year but there is less hostel rooms facility . If they are from ews they will get most 100 fee concession on course and if they avail ani online scholarships they are eligible and same for obc their course fee is deducted by parent annual income and same for sc st

The Fee Structure depends upon your category and You family income. For Students with family Income less than 1LPA fees is around Rs. 26750 per year For students with family income between 1LPA to 5LPA it is around Rs. 75000 per year For Students with family income more than 5LPA it is around Rs. 150000 per year

In every courses including architecture also, college provides paid internships. And also college placements are possible here.

Student Snaps:

Fee structure is about 6.5 lakh for whole course, excluding hotel fees. For SCs and STs tuition fess is free, hence it will cost them around 50-60k for whole course. Also if father's income is less then 1 Lakh then also tuition fee is free. There's no such any scholarship bounded by institue. The amount paid in josaa and csab counselling will be resfunded by 2nd semester, the first semester fees is adjusted by that fees only. Hence, it is very low amount for course such as architecture compare to private institutes.

NIT Raipur - A perspective

The fee for General with annual income abobe 5 lakh is approx 1,35,000 per year which can be paid semester wise. For General category having income 1 Lakh to 5 Lakh and OBC category the fees are approx 75000 per year. Detailed fee structure for each year can be found on the institute website. There are multiple scholarships that you can avail here. All government scholarships are applicable as well. In institute also there are multiple scholarship opportunities available for meritious students. In Architecture, the employment is very less like 3 -4 offers from class of 40-45 but no one is unemployed at the end as the name of NIT works at some places to get you a decent job. Though it is the field where your own skills matters alot.

It does not any scholarship for general category students, it only has scholarship for sc, st, obc. and about fees. it's based on the annual income of the family.if the annual income is less than 1 lakhs then the fees will be Rs6000 , if the annual income is more than 1 Lakhs and below 5 Lakhs then the fees will 42000 and if the annual income is more than 5 Lakhs then the fees will be 110000. usually there is no hike in the fees.
