- Scholarship: this college have really great facility of scholarships for needy people.
- Faculty to student ratio is great and small strength class provide a great personalized experience and teaching to students .
- The college fest is a perfect great opportunity to learn and grow.
Dislikes
- I think that they lag in their way of teaching.
- Hostel condition especially for the first year hostel which is provided that is shivalik hostel is worst
- Staff is not so good. they take extra classes and non of the things they explain are clear

Placement Experience:
students are interviewed for internships by companies in the fifith semester, and the eligible students have the 6th semester as an internship, and the credits are earned for internship , companies like goldman sachs and jp morgan visit the college for internships and placements , the highest package for cse branch last year was around 83 lakhs per annum and average was around 16-17 lakhs, around 80 percent students were placed in CSE branch last year I am thinking about getting a job after my degree

- The college leads up to social interaction with defferent peoples.
- The alumni strength of college is very vast as the college is existing about 100 year back,so it helps the students of this college
- Different groups for other curriculum activities, cultural activities helps the students to engage with each other.

- Infrastructure of college is a point it can be far more better.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum focus in allround development of a student.the first year is dedicated towards the introduction towards engineering in which the students have to visit all the all difference subjects. In second year students have to focus on their specific course. In third year the student have to devote themselves towards internship. And in 4th year the placements are done by the college.
This all prospective help us to prepare for real world applications of our academic knowledge.

- I like the placements provided by the college.
- Campus area is neat and clean and surroundings are well maintained.
- Labs are well maintained and being renovated.
Dislikes
- Some of the cources in first year are extra added as they are very old and are not needed in our discipline.
- Unavailability of proper technical facilities for visualization.
- Some of the professors don't teach properly and just read out the ppt.
Placement Experience:
Students in Punjab Engineering College become eligible for internships in their fifth semester and internships offers goes on until sixth semester. Our seniors here are placed in good companies like Wipro, Apple, Microsoft, Infosys, PhonePe, etc.

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys , phonepe, apple, microsoft . Highest package is 52 lakhs and the average package is 24 lakhs . I want to go to Switzerland after my degree

- Teachers are very good here and they always support students in their projects.
- There are many sports in which the students can participate.There are also coaches available for all the sports.
- Labs of the college are well maintained and facilated

- Infrastructure of the classes is not so good.They need to be maintained properly.
- Restricted timings of hostels at night mainly for the girls.
Placement Experience:
Placements of the cof artificial intelligence is 15 lakhs per annumllege are also good.Most of the students manage to get not just only the internships but also the stipend and after that they get placed in good companies.Average package of artificial intelligence is 15 lakhs per annum.

- Campus life is good.There are many clubs and societies in which you can have active participation.
- There are also facilities for tge sports,dance and music.
Dislikes
- Boys to the girls ratio is not very good.
- Infrastructure needs to be looked after and improved.
- Hostel timings for girls at night are till 10.
Placement Experience:
Students get placements very well.There are many companies which visit every year for the students.Most of the students also get internships.Average package varies from branch to branch.for cse it has average package near about 15 lakhs annualy

- The quality of stuednts and culture at college is really admiring. Students come from different background having different prespectives.
- Campus life is really great. You really know each other very well. Even, senior students teach us like brothers
- Placements provided at college is quite well. Students from circuital branch usually gets placed easily

- The most important thing to improve upon is college's bad infra
- The course syllabus and teaching system is aslo a bit obsolette
- College should have more career and future related opportunities drive for students

PEC has a good placement record of over 70% students getting placement. Students studying in 4th year are eligible for On- campus placement
Companies like Microsoft, Mckinsey, J.P Morgan, Goldman Sachs, UBS, American Express have a joint contract with the college
Highest on-campus package was 84 lakh by Attlassian for software development profile. Average package is generally 15 lakh INR

- The campus in the heart of Chandigarh. The college has all the amenities. Even the most renowned hospital PGI is just next to our campus.
- The college curriculum is influenced from IITs that a very plus point.
- The college has almost ground for every sport like cricket, football, athletic .We also have a swimming pool. The PecFest is the most fun part of the college life
Dislikes
- The college campus is bit small than IITs or NITs
- The college is not research oriented.So, if u are a research student do consider other options
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is influenced from IITs . The current curriculum of my branch that is ece is perfect for real-world as the Texas comes for placement in our campus the curriculum is upto date for that. The area of improvement is that the applications of that is not upto date in the labs. There are two examination that is mid semester and end semester examination were end semester examination has the most weightage. We also assignment, quiz and lab evaluation for each course in semester these are also included in the grade calculation

- Location is very good, U r in city beautiful chandigarh which have lot of attraction wit it, u have it part where lot of startups ed tech are available
- Cultural club activities especially for Punjabi oriented is very good
- A renowned brand tag of pec will be yours so ya it's good to be a pecobian

- Management of college nowadays not working well
- Infrastructure is not improving as in comparison nits
- Placement cell was good earlier now days placement head don't pay efforts to call much companies
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle
If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited
Around 40-50 companies have visited till now.
For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l
And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs
Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year
Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end

- the availability of faculty teachers to get contact for our ease in study
- nice placements and will improve as per ece future needs, college also has career development and growth centre, helping in placements and internships
- infrastructure includes both old and new labs, buildings, equipments etc.
Dislikes
- there are old lab equipments which are to be used in 1st year, some of them aren't even working
- the maintainance of hostel and washrooms isn't satisfactory, auditorium also much smaller than expected
- girls to boys ratio is too small 1:10 which is seen in ece department this year
Placement Experience:
campus placements are awesome, i have heard from many seniors about them getting nice placements at good companies. many companies like Microsoft, Google, phone pe and other good companies visited and placed many scholars. in last placements process 82 out of 119 students got placed
