AI-Generated Summary based on 55 Reviews

The faculty at Tirhut College of Agriculture, part of RPCAU, is well-qualified, with many holding PhDs from top institutions. The college maintains a faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1:12, facilitating personalized attention, although variations are noted with ratios of 1:30 and 1:20 also mentioned. Faculty members are cooperative, supportive, and help students with internships and research, though some are less involved in practicals. The college has diverse faculty across eight departments, with a total of 21 professors, including 10 assistant professors currently active.

Exams are structured into two main components per semester: Mid-term (30 marks) and End-term (50 marks), supplemented by practicals and internal assessments (20 marks). Faculty are approachable, fostering a friendly and interactive environment, with some criticism about senior faculty being less available due to other commitments. The faculty-student relationship is generally positive and supportive, aiding in both academic and non-academic matters.
