The foundation of Tirhut College of Agriculture was laid way back on 18th August 1960, by Late Dr. Srikrishna Singh, the first Chief Minister of the State of Bihar. TcA was established with a vision to cover the fertile land of north Bihar with granary. It aims at educating the young generation about the improved methods of production, farming, harvesting crop technologies and techniques to tackle the problems persistently arising in the field of agriculture.
