Likes

Financial helps are giving yearly to the toppers of each department.
This college is celebrating many activities like racaf the cultural fest , synergy the sports week and the shristi the technical fest in student can perform as per their interest .
Placement are good as nerist is the best college in northeast regions

Dislikes

Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students tata, vedanta, oil india , gr infra , srijan,pradan,sales companies a fiew max package is 9 lpa and lowestbis 2.16 lpa around 10/12% students gets placememt
Hostel facilities are not good as i can say it very average like fooding is not good , sometimes electricity issues occurs and water issues in the bathroom and basins and also drinking water cooler is stopped working sometimes
Internship fees are not being supported by college. although the travelling expenses are being payed from college

Nerist things!

Likes

Quality of infrastructure is good and modern
Environment for students is very friendly
Hostel room have good wifi connection and decent space to live

Dislikes

A lot more extra curricular is being practiced here
No transport facilities are provided nowadays
Too much classes are practicals are heald

Placement Experience:

The Placement opportunities are given in our college no doubt. After graduation a person becomes eligible for placement opportunities, if he or she wants to study more then other options are also in our university

This an institution under Ministry of Human Resource Development
The infrastructure is very good and experienced.
The overall environment is favorable for a student.

Dislikes

The quality of food in the hostel is very poor

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement drives.Many reputed Companies like OIL INDIA, GOOGLE, VEDANTA, TATA, BYJUS, NYKAA, ADOBE, MERCHANT NAVY etc visit our campus for recruitment. The institution guarantees 90% placement rate.

Campus Experience

Likes

Good Infrastructure and Faculties so far
Proper Laboratory Assistants and Equipments
Hostel Facilities are quite good and affordable

Dislikes

Campus location is a bit outskirt so this is a problem

Placement Experience:

The placements are good so far and every year at least 80% of students get placed and the companies that come to give placements are mostly core companies. The average package every year is 8LPA. So I do have a plan to sit on placement.

Real face of NERIST

This is an institution run by MHRD Govt. of India.It is deemed to university having latest laboratory equipments and good faculty and infrastructure.
To get addmission in this institution and admission test is conducted every year which needs to be cleared
Professors here are very helpful and cooperative.They gives us proper guidance to build a good career in our profession.Overall environment is very peaceful

Dislikes

Everything is nice ,the hostel food is average
Hostels are a bit old. Some renovations need to be done

Placement Experience:

90% of Students here get placed in some reputed companies like Google, Adobe, Oil India, Vedanta, Byjus, etc. The highest offered package is 1800000 INR and the average package is 800000 INR. From seventh semester onwards eligibility starts.

Brief idea about NERIST

Likes

Friendly environment with various types of people gathering from all parts of india
Friendly class atmosphere with helpful teachers

Dislikes

Hostel maintenance is very lacking and needs to be looked at
College compound is very open and seems like a public college
Some classrooms need to be refurbished as it's conditions are deteriorating

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placements which are available after you reach your final year and the college also provides us with various placement opportunities into different companies such as Oil India, GET, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is not fixed and changes every year.

Yeah it is good college for pursuing B.Tech engineering.
Teachers and staffs are all good and they will always help us in every ways.
Placement are good as NERIST is the best college in Northeast regions

Dislikes

Some local students do dadagiri thats the problem

Placement Experience:

yeah the placement in NERIST is good. You can sit on the placement when you are in B.Tech 3rd year. The highest placement was 20lpa. There are many company that come to NERIST for placement. 92% students get the placement every year.

NERIST details and experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 3 exams conducted, for first exam eligibility is after 10th and the course will be of 6 years, for 2nd exam the eligibility is after 12th and the duration of the course will be of 4 years, and for the third the eligibility is after doing diploma and duration of the course will be 3 years, the application forms are available in the institute website and it's still accepting responses for some more time period

The campus and weather is best here I say. If u are one who want a lot of free time this is the best engineering college i say. With a descent in everyfield.
The sports activities and cultural fest which are held annually are unbelievable here.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not upto the mark. But it is okay as compared to the ratio of the students. If you are in top 5 or top 10 college really have something good for you. If you are a studious guy you can achieve it as u get enough time. Because of less academic pressure.

Students opinion with their observations and experience while studying in the NERIST

Likes

We are all studying here as a whole with a good bonding and friendly environment
Like in the nerist it's good for all of the north eastern students as well as overall Indian students can study here with an average fees so that all of middle class families as well as financially strong families can effort the course and education.
Teachers are supportive and helping us if we are facing doubt and they are also taking doubt clearing classes

Dislikes

In case of fooding and hostel management quality of food is not tasty and good
In case of extra curricular activities if possible then it can be skipped for some activities

Placement Experience:

Placements are very average in my opinion because out of 50 plus students, only a few used to get the placement and there are no higher companies, packages are also average like 6 LPA per annum and for my electronics and communication branch placement is almost not available like 2 to maximum 5 students.

Likes

The Environment and roads are good, a good number of trees are around which is good for health
The quality of classroom is good and clean

Dislikes

The poor quality of labs and equipment available for experiment
The Providence of campus placement, scholarship and internship.

Placement Experience:

For the 8th sem campus placement is available, but for very fewer students like 1 for every 20 students. Vadanta, TCS companies comes with a package of around 8LPA. Highest package is 9.72LPA and on an average it's around 6LPA(this is also given to only a few students). Less than 10% students get the on campus placement. I will go for higher studies.
