- Financial helps are giving yearly to the toppers of each department.
- This college is celebrating many activities like racaf the cultural fest , synergy the sports week and the shristi the technical fest in student can perform as per their interest .
- Placement are good as nerist is the best college in northeast regions
Dislikes
- Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students tata, vedanta, oil india , gr infra , srijan,pradan,sales companies a fiew max package is 9 lpa and lowestbis 2.16 lpa around 10/12% students gets placememt
- Hostel facilities are not good as i can say it very average like fooding is not good , sometimes electricity issues occurs and water issues in the bathroom and basins and also drinking water cooler is stopped working sometimes
- Internship fees are not being supported by college. although the travelling expenses are being payed from college

Students from the final year are eligible for campus placement. Around 60% of students on average get placement on campus.
Companies like Mahindra, tata, oil, Vedanta, etc visited the campus this year
The average package is around 6LPA

Placements totally depend on the student... This year only one student got placed in amazon for package 85 lacks in Sydney, Australia...
And many more... Many companies visit here every year and many students who have worked for placements got offered by companies.

It is the best technical College in our state and the course I took was good for developments in our state as it is an agriculture based state. Students from various parts of North East come here through entrance. Seats are there for all India students too.So NERIST is full of diversity in culture,caste and race.It provides B.tech,B.sc,MBA, M.tech,M.sc,P.hd program.The course I took was Agricultural Engineering.It was a much needed course in our state which directly depended its economy in agriculture.

There is no negative thoughts. I have lived one great life there. The college offer everything - Knowledge, Friends from different states, Hostel enjoyment, Festival, Tours. Every instance taught me something to deal problems in life. Someone took everything positively and are in higher positions. Someone went to the dark side and left the college. It totally depends upon oneself how to embrace the situation- as there are both good and bad influence present.

I rated this Institution 3.9 out of 5 1. Infrastructure - 3.0
because buildings are too old and need to repair as fast as can possible.

because need some faculty Improvement Programme

No, bad weather not good hostel and no one takes care there at last the college is best but need some improvement in the grassroots level and corruption should be ignored by the the teacher.

All i can say is if you get a chance to enter this college then dont miss it. It will make you strong person to deal with any kind of situation. It isone of the best institute in terms of technical education.
