Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The specific aspects of curriculum at NERIST that infuleced my decision to choose this course include its comprehension coverage of fundamental concepts in mathematics, chemistry, adn physics which are essential for a strong foundation in engineering. Additionally, the emphasis on practical applications and hands on learning opportunities such as laboratory sessions and project works, appealed to me as its provides more holisitc understanding of the subjects and better prepares students for real world engineering colleges. The courses are EE,ECE,ME,CSE,AE,CE,Forestry There are areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods at NERIST. Additionally, introducing more practical training oppportunities, internships, and industry projects could enhance students practical skills and industry readiness. Regarding the frequency and timing of exams, while the current schedule may be manageable, there could be room for adjustment to ensure a more balanced works throughout sem

My overall experience with the cmapus has been enriching, with a vibrant social atmosphere, diverse club involvement opportunities, and well develpoed infrastructure. Socially the campus fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among students form various cultural backgrounds. Wether through informal gatherings in the student lounge or organized events such as cultural festivals and sports tournaments, there are ample opportunities to connect with peers and forge lifelong friendships.

Its consists of separate hostels for male and female students. Each hostel typically offer dormitory-style rooms with basic furnishings such as beds , study tables, chairs, and storage space. Safety and security measures are prioritized in the hostel premises, with facilities such as security personnel, CCTV surveillance, and restricted access to ensure the well being of students. Common facilities provided in the hostel premises may include common rooms for socializing, recreational areas for indoor and outdoors activities, study rooms, laundry , facilities and mess or dining halls where students can have their meals

From 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. I am from cse branch and most students of CSE get placed with a decent package. Let's see what happens with my batch as my batch has the most students as compared to other batches. Last year the placements were not so good due to recession. Other branches like mechanical, ece, civil too get companies. I don't know about electrical engineering. But we get good number of opportunities for cse.
