Likes
- Financial helps are giving yearly to the toppers of each department.
- This college is celebrating many activities like racaf the cultural fest , synergy the sports week and the shristi the technical fest in student can perform as per their interest .
- Placement are good as nerist is the best college in northeast regions
Dislikes
- Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students tata, vedanta, oil india , gr infra , srijan,pradan,sales companies a fiew max package is 9 lpa and lowestbis 2.16 lpa around 10/12% students gets placememt
- Hostel facilities are not good as i can say it very average like fooding is not good , sometimes electricity issues occurs and water issues in the bathroom and basins and also drinking water cooler is stopped working sometimes
- Internship fees are not being supported by college. although the travelling expenses are being payed from college

Likes
- The environment, nature of people, availability of guidance and people who wants to know how you think.
- My room, library the books availability and the peaceful cubicles in the library.
- The assignments that helped me learn so much , workshops , training programs. I earned a lot of certificates.
Dislikes
- The mess food, the hygiene there and the water. Girls hostel time restriction i.e., 7 p.m.
- Bathing water is quite dirty and my room is just so damp.
- Insufficient area to dry my clothes and the varying wifi connection that affects our work at times.
Placement Experience:
The final year students are allowed to sit for placements. We the b.tech 3rd year students have to earn experience doing some industrial internships. There are quite good no. of campus placement that happened last few years the salaries ranged from 3.5lpa to 15lpa and average students got 8lpa jobs offered. It is based on personality , skills and experience.

- Different fest in different culture by Different unions
- Environment ( Green and clean ) Nature is good
- Buildings and infrastructures. Teaches are good
Dislikes
- Maintenance is not up to point. Workshop equipment is not up to mark
- Water problems. Beacause of hill area it occurs regulary.
- Unavailability of workers and non teaching staffs
Placement Experience:
Ocourss Placement is their.Every year like 10 to 12 students from each Department are placed in various companies Package are good like 600000 to 700000 are average Package and highest is 24 LPA. TATA and Vedanta are Regular companies for NERIST.

- There is diversity in our college different state people are there . There is very clean environment , fresh air . too much tress.
- The educational fees and hostel fees are very less
- Campus are is very big . it is approximately 500 acres of land.
Dislikes
- In a week 2 holiday are given sat and sund .
- The placements are not good . there is lack of companies
- The infrastructure is not too good . hostel conditions is like railway quarter
Placement Experience:
Generally campus placement is going on from 7th semester . mechanical branch placement is quite good from other branch . TATA, VEDANTA, OIL , BYJUS there are few companies come for placement . Tata is offering 6 lacks and remaining are approx 10 lacks except byjus.
