VFSTR B.Tech Chemical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college charges an annual fee of Rs. 1,35,000, plus an admission fee of Rs. 10,000 and an exam fee of Rs. 2,000, which may be burdensome for middle-class families. VFSTR provides excellent campus placements, with about 90% of students landing jobs in well-known companies like Wipro, Hyundai Motors, Cognizant, HCL, IBM, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. Recently, 330 fourth-year students were placed in companies including TCS and Tech Mahindra. For chemical engineering, the highest salary package is Rs. 6.8 lakhs per year, with an average of Rs. 6 lakhs and a minimum of Rs. 3 lakhs.

Placement eligibility begins in the 6th semester for students with 80% academic marks, and companies such as HETRO from Hyderabad recruit on campus. Although internship opportunities are limited, they are supported, and final-year projects are mandatory. Vignan's University offers various scholarships based on merit and other factors, with some students receiving up to a 100% scholarship. Additional scholarships of 50%, 25%, and 10% are available, and alumni and students with siblings at the university receive a 10% discount.

The chemical engineering program costs around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 100,000 per year, with payments required at the start of each semester. Scholarships are offered based on performance in exams like JEE-Mains, JEE-Advanced, and EAPCET. Some internships offer a stipend of Rs. 18,000, enhancing students' career prospects.
