Our college is really neat and clean it is maintained well there are many trees and it looks so beautiful
Of now i am getting a scholarship from a trust which is located in karnataka.campus placements are also pretty good
Placement in this college is very nice the student with good academics can get the job in very good company

Dislikes

There is nothing in our college in name of scholarship for obc and general and even no financial assistance is provided and no job on campus .
Here they will conduct 2 fests named spring spree and techhnozion and after they won't even care about fests all they do is they do whatever they want it is stress full we can't enjoy our college life
Hostels are poor and not upto the mark,even the food in the mess in not that good ,they provide very bad food,no quality no taste nothing,one have to depend on the other sources of food to have proper health

My college nit Warangal

I liked the campus of the college, the 240 acres lush green campus.
Hostel in nit Warangal is also good they provide a ultra mega hostel for first year students
I like the research facilities and machinery in the labs

Dislikes

80 percentage attendance rule, I think there must be some relaxation
Teaching methodology is very orthodox and mostly teachers are from Telangana
Cgpa criteria of extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after the 7 th semester. In mechanical I can say mostly all psu come for recruitment which includes hpcl,bpcl,ongc etc and also some of private core companies came. Highest package was around 28.6 lpa,and the lowest was 6 lpa, average was 14 lpa I want to go for upsc after the graduation.

Every Thing You Need To Know About NIT Warangal

Collage campus is really beautiful and huge and we have all the facilities needed like sports, library, digital library etc.. Campus has many facilities to ensure over all growth of a preson
NITW's central library is one of the best libraries and is equipped with AC. It has every book you need for your academic studies

Dislikes

Mess food is really worse and it is also pure vegetarian mess. If you need NON-Veg you need to pay extra for it, even for boiled egg.
For completing a semester we need to have a minimum attendance of 80% it is really brutal.
In first year we have a non credit mandatory course called EAA. In which we need to wake up and go to stadium to work out at 6 am. And even it also has 80% attendance criteria

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is an NIT and the professors there are talented and capable. I think the course curriculum is really good and gives us in-depth understanding of the core concepts of Computer Science. we have 3 minors, 1 mid, and 1 end sem examination. minors are relatively easy due to less syllabus the tests are attemptable.

Good college for Tech branches but Worst for Non-tech branches.

Likes

The best thing about the college is the exposure to the newcomers it provides whether it is in field of social interaction or industrial.
The professors are highly skilled and easy to reach.

Dislikes

The non-flexibility and difficulty in non-adaptability of the curriculum.
Lack of basic sports facilities and hygiene is also a problem.
Lack of opportunities of internships/placements in non IT branches.

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good for branches like CSE, ECE, EEE but not much for non-tech branches like Biotech, MME, Civil. There are not much placement/internship opportunities in core for non-tech branches. Also the average package for tech branches is around 20LPA & for non-tech branches, it is around 7LPA.

Faculty is really good here. They explain everything really clear
The atmosphere here is really very good.

Dislikes

Campus area is small. It's 250 acres only as compared to other campus are around more than 500 acres

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 70-75 companies visit to our campus. Almost 100+ offers are made here. Highest package here is 88LPA and Average package is around 15LPA. 95% placement percentage here.

NIT Warangal , a dream college

Likes

The lush green and big campus. Everywhere is green green. Big big buildings, new infrastructures, modern ffacilities etc
Every professor is mininum in phD level. Their level of research and teaching is amazingly good.
Most important, yeah Placements are super duper. You can minimum expect 8lpa from here and max upto 88lpa

Dislikes

Hectic semesters, assignments,labs, south indian heat, strict rules for girls and some also for boys.
There is cgpa cutoff everywhere. Any club society if you wanna join or even for cr elections, you need to be under described criteria.

From 7th semesters companies start visiting the college and student can get very good placemets after they pass the interview processes. Companies like Microsoft Amazon Flipkart GoldmanSachs Oracle Deutsche bank BNY mellon Axis Bank Sales forces and many more. Approx 400 companies visit every year. Average package of chemical branch is 14.3lpa Highest was 27lpa last year. Most of the students go for jobes but some jpins higher education too.

ULTIMATE REVIEW OF NIT WARANGAL

The good thing in NITW college is placements and internships
One of the other good things is sports. You can play basketball, badminton, tennis, kabbadi. We don’t have a cricket ground.

Dislikes

This college is just an ordinary government college. Don't have any expectations of any kind.
First years and second years share triple occupancy in 1.8k. old blocks for second years.

Placement Experience:

As usual since it is a top nit so placements are really good generally. From 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Top product based companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google , Facebook, so on Highest package from CSE:-88 LPA Average package:-17 lpa overall Following the Passion is the real degree to me. Almost 99% getting placed from CSE Bio Technology:- 70% Chemical Engineering:- 91% Civil engineering - 81% CSE - 99% EEE - 93% ECE- 90% ME- 90% METALLURGY - 82%

having higher placements than even new IITs having excellent NIRF ranking .
NITW is having excellent infrastructure. Having totally secured campus with mare than 200 Security gourds.
Having a lot of Extracuricular activities and more than 20 Clubs which are totally active.

Dislikes

One of the most tough acadamically courses. Tough to score the CGPA.
80 % attendance are compulsory and from this sem they have started biometric attendance.
They dont provide branch change option to thee students with good CGPA instead of that thay provide Minor courses.

Placement Experience:

The excellent performance when we talk about the placements. Having highest placement of 89 lakh last year . and avg package are also overall good with 31 lakh of Computer science . Other branches also have good highest package and average package.

My Life at NITW

Likes

I really like the cleanliness in the national institute of technology of Warangal and students are often try to speak in english.
I really like the greenery of the campus.
The largest hostel of Asia is the best experience in my life it very good hostel.

Dislikes

Faculty give baseless marks in the end exam.
Faculty from the south support and give good grade to the south students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curiculum are very hard to follow even a good students have difficulty to follow as there are 2-3 times minor test and 1 time mid and end exam so faculty only focus on completing the syllabus.

I liked the Alumni Network of NITW Warangal & their brand name than other NIT college or some IIT Colleges
I liked their peer group of NIT Warangal. Like i always I feel I'm in better group than anyone.
I liked the Restaurants around NIT Warangal they have good cuisines.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike is Mess food which worse than ever.even giving so many complaints they don't improve
The other thing I don't like is to me having less taste of North Indian food.
The other thing I don't like is excessive Acadmic pressure which is good but here is too much stress is given on academics than skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects the made me choose this course the attraction towards big building. Actually the curriculum is well made for real-world applications of civil engineering. I have experienced it. All the subjects are totally relevant. They teach 1 less subjects. Bcz they have 10 subjects which is more than we need. The frequency of exams are okay & difficultly of exam is depends of teacher. But I would say it is usually average.

NIT WARANGAL CAMPUS REVIEW

campus of nit warangal is very neat and clean.
All the faculties are well educated and experienced. They teach with real time examples.
Placement ratio for all the branches is very good as compared to other nits.

Dislikes

There is still scope for improvement in few things.canteen availability is not there in the night for students.
central library is also not open 24 hours.it opens 9am to 9 pm
few labs are also not in good condition so it can also be improved.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards placements start for the students . students can get internship in 3rd year itself. Many big companies like Tata, reliance, amazon, Google, Microsoft and may others visit campus for placements. Placement percent6for our branch is 90 percent. Highest package was 35 lpa from mechanical branch and average ctc was 14lpa for previous year. I also got job during campus placement and will be joining the company in upcoming months.
