NIT Warangal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Electronics specialization was provided in our course and because of which I choose this course to pursue. Placements are good from our college but faculty are not upto the mark. You got to study on your own. No teacher helps you.

Admission to this college is through JEE Main Brand of the college, Top College amongst all NITs, Student-faculty ratio, Course Curriculum, Alumni in the top position, Companies that visit to college campus for placements, proximity to Hyderabad The bad thing: this college is not student friendly, lots of politics

MBA program offered by this institute exclusively for Engineering graduates allows professional of 15-20 years work experience as faculty. Graduate degree with institute's supported entrance exam score and personal interview assist the admission criteria for multifunctional perspective.

From 3rd year second semester, companies start coming and students are eligible for campus placement from then. There are a lot of reputed companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Adobe, Qualcomm, intel , SanDisk, ITC, L&T, Novartis, etc which offer placements and internships. Some of the PSUs like GAIL, HPCL, BPCL,BHEL etc also come for campus placements. The highest package was 45 lakhs and the average package is around 10-12 lakhs. However, it differs from branch to branch. Almost all the students ( who passed all the tests)get placed in the college and it will be around 90 percent. Work for some years and plan for higher studies.

We are eligible for placements starting from our 7th semester. We can apply to companies based on our pointer cutoff and our branches. The highest packages vary from 50 Lakh per annum to 45 lakh per annum based on the company which visits our campus. Average packages may vary per year but it remains at around 15 Lakh per annum.

Students are elegible for interns from semester 6, post which they are eligible for PPOs Placements start in August in sem 7 The highest package is over 40 Lakh pa. Around 140 companies visit for campus placements. And about 90% of the people get placed. I plan on working after the degree.

From the beginning for 4th year (i.e 6th semeter) placements process starts.More than 85%+ students are placed with good average package. The number students choosing higher studies is good. college has good alumni network who also helps you when needed and guide you during placement process.

From semester 7 final year placement season start. Almost 197 companies visited our campus and more than 800+ offers were given. Highest CTC : 56LPA avg CTC : 12LPA 85% Of the students were offered placements.

Students will be eligible for internships from the fifth semester and for placements from the 7th semester. More than 200 companies visit my campus. Offers vary from 3.5lpa to 40lpa and even more sometimes. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA and the highest package was 40 LPA. The average package was 7 LPA. Around 90 percent of students will be placed in different companies.

Getting a job here and working hard on that and let's how it goes after that. Initially thought to pursue an MBA but this degree doesn't help you much if you don't have a good CGPA. Getting a high CGPA Is harder.
