JNTUH Admission 2024: B.Tech, M.Tech, Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Admission Process

JNTUH offers a 4-year B.tech program in 24 different specializations. The major specializations offered include Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information & Technology. Further, the university also offered admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry. JNTUH B.Tech fee ranges from INR 40, 500 to INR 7,20,000.

JNTUH B.Tech Eligibility

B.Tech:

• Applicants must have 45% at +2 level with compulsory subjects like PCM.
• Applicants must also be Indian to be eligible to apply.
• The age must not exceed 17 years as well.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

• Students must have passed 3-year Diploma in a relevant field to be eligible.

JNTUH B.Tech Selection Criteria

• Students are admitted based on their scores in TS EAMCET followed by counseling. 
• The university also accepts valid scores in  AP EAMCET, JEE Main, TSEdCET, TS ECET, , COMEDK UGET for B.Tech Admission. 
• For lateral entry, students must qualify for TS ECET.

JNTUH B.Tech Cutoff 2024

The table given below shows JNTUH TS EAMCET Cutoff 2024 for Round 1. 

Apart from offering B.Tech at the undergraduate level, JNTUH also offers a 4-year B.Pharm program based on valid scores in TS EAMCET/ AP EAMCET / TSBIE. 

JNTUH B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have passed 10+2 with a 45% aggregate.
• Must have studied compulsory subjects like Physics & Mathematics. Along with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology, etc.
• Also, students who are Indians and not above the age of 21 can apply.

JNTUH B.Pharma Selection Criteria

• Admission selections are based on scores obtained in TS EAMCET/ AP EAMCET / TSBIE followed by counselling. 

Admission Process

Students willing to appear for the TS EMACET exam have to pay a fee of INR 900, while SC/ST have to pay only INR 500. The following is a gist of the application and how to go about it:

• TSCHE releases the application form at www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in.
• There are 3 main steps involved in completing the TS EAMCET Application Form.
• The students must ensure that they fill out the application and keep a printout of the payment receipt.
• Students are required to fill in their personal details and upload their recent photograph along with their signature.

JNTU Hyderabad offers 2-year M.Tech program in 64 different specializations at the post-graduate level. Specializations widely opted by students include Computer Science Engineering, Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Electrical Power Systems & Metallurgy

JNTUH M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in B Tech from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to appear in the entrance examination of this course and be admitted to MTech in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

JNTUH M.Tech Selection Criteria

To get selected for admission students must qualify for either GATE or PGECET followed by Counselling. 

The division is divided into 3 categories that are:

• Regular stream: Under this, the students who have qualified for the GATE examination will get an AICTE scholarship or stipend. 
• Sponsored category: Under this, the student must be sponsored by the organization where he or she is currently working and must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Non-sponsored: Under this, preference is given to the students who have qualified GATE examination irrespective of the fact that they are eligible for the scholarship or not.

How to Apply for GATE?

• Applications for GATE are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

JNTU Hyderabad also offers management courses like 3-year full-time MCA & 2-year full-time/ part-time MBA at the postgraduate level. The university offers MBA in five different specializations namely Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Operation Systems & Entrepreneurship. JNTUH MBA fees range from INR 46,000 to INR 6,37,000 whereas for MCA it ranges from INR 54,000 to INR 1,50,000. 

JNTUH MBA/MCA Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants must have a 3-year bachelor’s degree recognized by AICTE and JNTUH in any relevant stream,

JNTUH MBA/MCA Selection Criteria

• Students are required to qualify for TS ICET or JNTUH Entrance to be eligible.
• Admission applications can be submitted online only after receiving written approval from the faculty advisor.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University offers a full-time M.Pharma program for a duration of 2 years in 11 different specializations that include Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Industrial Pharmacy. The university charges INR 1,80,000 for the M.pharma program. 

JNTUH M.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have passed a B.Pharm or an equivalent Pharmacy degree of 4 years recognized by JNTUH.
• Also, the applicants must be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply.

JNTUH M.Pharm Selection Criteria

• Students must have qualified GPAT to be eligible for admission followed by Counselling. 

The university offers full-time & part-time M.Sc program for a duration of 2 Years in 4 specializations Applied Mathematics, Fiber Optics & Communication, Drugs & Pharmaceutics & Organic. 

JNTUH M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have passed B.Sc or an equivalent degree of 3 years recognised by JNTUH.

JNTUH M.Sc Selection Criteria

• Students must have qualified PGECET to be eligible for admission.

Besides offering courses at UG & PG levels, JNTU Hyderabad also offers Full time / Part time / External M.Phil & Ph.D. Pprograms in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications & Biotechnology. 

JNTUH M.Phil & Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

Students must have passed master’s degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks to be eligible for admission.

JNTUH M.Phil & Ph.D. Selection Criteria

• Students must have qualified either UGC-NET or JRF or SLET to directly appear for the interview conducted at the university.
• Those who don’t have a score in the above exams can appear for the University entrance examination. Post qualifying they will be called for PI.
