Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen AIML branch becuase it has huge demand in future. The curriculum prepares me very well in this branch compared to college. The teaching methods need to be improved for 2nd year and 3rd year students. In 6 months there is a semester and in every 3 months there is a mid exams. In every year there are 2 semesters followed by 2 mids in each semester. The overall difficulty of an exam is easy.

Internships Opportunities

4

Infosys in our college offered a role sde intern with 10k stipend and Accenture also offered sde intern with 12k stipend. Interns will gain experience in companies by understanding about work and culture of office.

Placement Experience

3

The placements in our college is not good. From 3rd year 2nd semester the placements and internships will starts. Companies like cognizant, infosys and accenture will visit our campus. These companies made 100 offers in last year. The highest package in our college is 1200000 and lowest package was 300000 and average is around 4lpa to 5lpa. Around 50% students wre placed every year. My plans after getting degree is preparing for governement jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for AIML branch in sri indu college is 115000 to 130000.Sc and St students can get fee support. I am a St student, so i do not pay the course fee. For ST and SC students, the fee is zero. In government colleges. students with reservation do not pay hostel fees. In private colleges. they must pay hostel fees. The admission fee in my college is around 10000.Lab fee is 8500. The tuiton fee is 115000 to 130000. Students can get support through EPASS. Other branches also have the same fee of 115000 to 130000.

Campus Life

5

Overall experience with campus life is very good. There are proper events and fests. If any events and fests are held in campus it have strict rules. Technotsav event is conducted every year. There are events like patang utsav and tribe fest and etc.. The facilities and technology provisions within classrooms are very good. Sports like football, basketball, cricket and volleyball held in campus. Students will run social groups like nss and etc. It will impact student life very well if we follow the social group rules in college.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is quite good which is private hostel. The facilities provided in room are hot water, beds, fans, racks and etc. The food is not so much good. The student must need to adjust at afternoon. The quality of food is average in any private hostel. I have rented pg hostel. Any student can get into private hostel if there is a vacancy in hostel.

Admission

I have chosen sri indu college becuase i got low rank. Compared to other colleges our college has good infrastructure and good cultural activities with social interactions. I couldnt choose any other colleges with computer science branch becuase i got low rank. I got nearly 70k rank in st category. The admission process in our college goes through eamcet, ecet and management quota. A general category student must want to secure 20k below rank to get seat in our college. Others can get 20k-30k rank as per 2025 except SC and ST an other.

Faculty

3

There are 5-6 faculty in each branch in our college. In each branch there are around 70 students. I like saraswathi madam who teaches mathematics i think she is best lecturer in mathematics. She completed PHD. In first year all subject faculties are good. I dont like pps faculty in my college. The relationship between students and faculty is quite bad. In a each year there are 2 semesters and 2 mids in each semester. The overall difficulty of paper is easy. Around 15 students in a class will fail to clear exams. The course curriculum is not good and not relevant.

Night Life

4

The college is upto 4pm which starts at 9.40am. So there is no nightlife in college. There are good hangout spots in our college. In those my favourite one is canteen. After a day of classes students will gather in canteen and they do chit chat. These experience will be memoriable in my life. My campus timings is 9am to 4pm after that ill go to hostel. In outside college there is one park near college , The area is so peaceful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.
