IIIT Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements offered are good compared to other Colleges. An average of 12lpa is offered ot students. It's 13 lpa for CSE and 12lpa for IT and CE. For ETC and EEE it's about 10lpa i guess. The highest offer i guess is 39lpa. Also there has been off campus placement of 80lpa. Companies like Infosys, Oracle and others are a staple here. I think mass recruitment is not allowed. Students become eligible for placement drives and ppo from the 6th semester mostly. There had been around 40 companies visited last year. And for the fields 90% placements is an average.

From 3rd year student become eligible for placement UKG , TCS , etc many other are listed on official website. almost every student placed over the company's. More than 95% student get placed in the company's. My plan is to crack the Gate exam and getting good job in good company.

100% of the students eligible for placements get placed. For the year 2023, the average package was 8 lakhs per annum with the highest package at 39 lpa and lowest at 3.5 and a median package of 7.5 lpa

from sixth sem people can be available for campus placement the companies oracle,dell,hp,amazon,cognegence,tcs,turing, and many more reputed companies you can find it in their site the heighest ctc this year on campus is 39,00,000 and median salary is around 10,00,000 many students get placed after the campus placement ' i will apply for both on campus and off campus placements.

The course here is designed for the students only. As we are in an autonomous college, we get lots of questions in the sem papers from either PYQ or from the notes, which makes us easy to score in tough exams also. The course and curriculum is derived from IIT's and other IIIT's but the way of teaching and other things are too good in this college. The freedom you get in this college is far better than NIT's also.

The placement of this college has improved and it has more placement then last time and Cse is getting more fame and money and it's the trending branch for the people and highest package is around 90 lakshs

Students become eligible for internship officially from 3rd yr and for placements 7th semester onwards. Recently oracle has visited and 4-6 gote in there with 26 LPA . Zscalara was also there around 15 LPA . Percentage last year was 80-85 ig. I think I will join as a software developer along with a carrier in photography but let's see what happens.

From the start of the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The placement used to be so good and the graph was increasing exponentially. But for to recession, last year's placements were not good at all. There was almost 100% placement in CSE, IT and CE branches and 80% in ETC and EEE. But due to the recession, it dropped drastically. The highest package provided on campus is 39LPA by media.net, taking only one student. The average salary used to be 12LPA which dropped to 7LPA due to the recession. The condition of placement cells is not good currently and many students are in doubt regarding their placements. Many are opting for higher studies or trying off campus.

Ya our course curriculum is also good here we are able to learn variety of subjects that help us for the placement in the 4th year... In the first we able to learn C programming in the 2 nd year we able to learn C++ and python...

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
