They are very knowledgeable, all of them having a good amount of industry experience and having excelled in their respective fields.
Campus has over 30 active clubs with interest such as art, photography, development, dance, singing, competitive coding, finance, etc.
The hostel is pretty well equipped with all the basic needs and amenities.

Dislikes

I am doing in btech in electroinics .you may have heard that electronics is the toughest of all eningeering branches so it is very difficult and bits goa has very harsh grading which makes it more diificukt
Bad grading in math courses and difficult courses in general as compared to other branches
The grading is too difficult. the relative grading here is a little bit wierd. the sole power of grading lies in the hands of ic(instructor in charge). if he doesn't feel like it he can reduce the average grade.

Likes

Zero attendance policy across all BITS campuses is great.
Great infrastructure and scenic beauty through the campus.
Great start-up culture and Senior-junior connections.

Dislikes

Lack of Athletics track and field ground.
No vehicles allowed inside the campus (for students). Have to walk for very long to reach classes.
Mess food is sometimes not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

There are 2 internship opportunities: PS1 and PS2. Students become eligible for PS1 after completion of 2nd year while they become eligible for PS2 in the 4th year. Students get stipends during the internship in PS2 and generally get a PPO during it only. Average package is around 20-25 lakh p.a.

BITS PILANI - It's magic

Likes

There is no reservation policy in Bits so you study with peers of same intellect as yours. Very diverse crowd and supportive group of people
In Bits Goa, you have good hostels and basic amenities are provided and maintained as well.

Dislikes

There are some strict rules regarding leaving the campus during class hours so you can't bunk class and go outside the campus
You have to return to the campus before 10:30 night and can leave only after 5:30 evening which gives such a small window to explore Goa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I said before, the curriculum is designed by MIT and hence it's comprehensive and subjected to change as per industry standards. For hands on experience on the subject, we have interships and other opportunities provided by Bits management.

Bits goa brief review

Likes

Very good seniors who did not rag anyone they were very helpful and supportive
The student body is very active they fight for our benifits and improve the campus to the best of their abilities
There is no hostel curfew we can roam around the campus whenever we want

Dislikes

Hard and fast moving curriculum very many topics are covered at a high pace
Tough relative grading compared to other bits campuses
Some probl9with dogs in the campus late at night

The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job

Stress Free Living - The campus takes care of all tertiary needs such as food, grocery, laundry etc. Thus the students gave more than enough time and opportunity to prepare for their exams and personal commitments. Barber is also there
Clubs and Departments-There are technical and non technical clubs giving students the opportunity to develop any skill they desire. These also givr students the opportunity to interact with like minded people, yhus leading to self growth and develop
Skilled Faculty-Faculty is highly skilled in their teaching and have up to date knowledge about current trends in their specific domain too.

Dislikes

Fees-The fee is high compared to majority of the colleges
Grading-Grading is relatively difficult as compared to other colleges
Frequent power cutoffs in the region make summers unbearable

You have a choice to sit for placements in the second last or last semester of your course (single degree) The detailed data regarding placements and company visits can be found on our institutions website. I will be sitting for on campus placements personally No. Of students being placed depends upon students' skillset and market scenario.

A Review for BITS Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus

Infrastructure is Well designed. All lab equipments work and are in good condition. Air conditioners work well in both lecture theatres and classrooms. Auditorium is also big and noise doesn't echo
Some faculty members are very good. Others do not make a lot of effort in providing study material. Zero attendance policy comes handy here as you can skip their classes and study on your own.
Many opportunities are provided. A lot of courses are available to take up and learn new things. Events and Fests are amazing and you get to socialize with important people, from professors to entrepreneurs.

Dislikes

Exams are packed throughout the semester. Every month there will be either a quiz/midsem/compre(finals). Every week, there are evaluative labs which reflect on the CGPA so you have to constantly study.
Not a lot of hostel facilities like a pantry. Kettles, iron are not allowed.
Somedays, classes are jam-packed. Gotta attend evaluative labs early in the morning and you cannot miss them. Getting a makeup is also hard.

Placement Experience:

The campus offers two internships(Practice Schools 1 and 2) after the second and third years. Most companies give PPO in PS2. The average of the Circuital branch is 20 lpa. And for IT it is 31lpa. A lot of companies visit the campus. The placement cell is very active.

Ample research opportunities are available for all nranches
The alumni network is really strong and easily accessible
Multiple internship opportunities are offered to students

Dislikes

The tuition fees are slightly on the higher side

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is really good. Multinational companies along with startups visit the campus. The number of core companies that visit is less however but those that do come, provide a competitive salary for their fields.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is superb
The coding culture is literally one of the best in the country
The college provides very good work experience through internships

Dislikes

The college has one of the most impeccable placement statistics in the country. Numerous companies recruit from the college not only for Jobs, but also for internships. The median and average package for the college is well above 20 lakhs per annum.

BITS Pilani, Goa- Absolutely worth it

Likes

Like the college culture and the ambience here. The food points are also good.
The campus and infrastructure is really good.
The academics and faculty is really good.

Dislikes

The fees is a little high, it may not be affordable for everyone.
Cycles are not allowed. That wastes a lot of time walking around to the classes and back.
Campus is located in south goa, makes it far from major tourist spots to visit.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our campus. It provides placement to almost all students. Some students plan to do higher studies. All big companies like Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Texas Instruments come for placements and well as summer internshi opportunities.

The Overall life and Experience at BITS Pilani Goa Campus

Likes

The most basic thing is the brand name of BITS Pilani which opens many doors in future after graduation
BITS also provides so many different opportunities to students and a variety of things to pursue based on what you want to study
The student culture is very strong due to hostel system which of one of the reasons of a strong alumni base of BITS Pilani

Dislikes

The fees is a bit high which makes it unaffordable to some groups of people
No AC in hostels except common room so some people get a bit uncomfortable in the hostels

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 4th year to sit for placements(except if you get an SIP and a PPO after that). Every company in India which hires students from colleges come to this college except for mass recruiters which the placement unit avoids to bring. The number of offers made last year was around a 1500. The highest package was 80LPA and the average being 24LPA The percentage of students getting placed is around 90% because a lot of students go for further studies I plan to work for 3-4 years to gain some experience and then go for a MBA afterwards in Germany

Likes

The campus and hostels are very beautiful.
Every amenities are maintained properly.
Facilities are friendly and helpful and solve doubts.

Dislikes

Cycles not allowed. Have to walk a lot inside the campus.
Common washroom, no personal washroom in the hostel rooms.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Amazon, Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple visit for campus placements. Average packages are around 30 lakhs Rs, and highest packages go up to 1 crore. Most of the students get placed. My plans after getting BE degree is to do masters.
