I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Amazing & happening campus

Remarks:

Talking about the exam structure, we have 60 marks of end semester exam and 40 marks of internals. The internals includes 25 marks of mid-semester exams and 15 marks of quizzes and assignments. The examination pattern has no changes but it is very difficult to get marks here. Very strong Network. I am a part of Board of Studies for the Dept. Still in touch with many senior Alumnus. Alumnus present in almost all the good companies across globe at best positions.

This is an experience of Bit Mesra, Ranchi

Remarks:

Overall it is a good choice in the state of Jharkhand but for some other localities one might have some better options. Also the facilities are provided at some neutral cost which means not so expensive cost but also not near to feasible cost. It would be helpful if one can survive there for almost ?3-4 thousand.

Remarks:

College is outskirts of the city. The transport facilities is very poor . You have to reserve your own vehicle to go to College from station . Road is also not soo good . Their is no public transport availablity.

My experiences in BIT MESRA

Remarks:

Overall I say this is a finest college in India among private Engineering college after bits Pilani. Academic and placement r average but around 80% of people get jobs. Negative part age of this college is reservation for SC and ST categories which fills around 40% of seats and decrease the quality of students. After all of this this is a lavish campus of 750 acres full of greeneries and one can enjoy his college life very cheerfully here.

The administrative work is quite slow

Remarks:

The administration is can be more open to modern thoughts and practices. The administrative work is quite slow. Otherwise the college is one of the best after IITs. It has a very green campus surrounded by river on 3 sides, a huge auditorium and many more things to explore.

Good College

Remarks:

College was very good I am proud to be a BIT'an. I always felt the difference and the quality of education that was imparted was much better than the other institutes, which made us ahead of our peers. Infrastructure is Mesra is awesome however Kolkata center is comparatively small.

Life at BIT

Remarks:

The college is best for Computer science student. If one is an average student with decent CGPA, he's bound to grab a good job. Almost 100% students of Cse department gets placements ant that too in big companies. For other branches, the placement is not so good and you have to struggle a bit. But if you are hard working you are gonna get it anyways.

Remarks:

College Management is good, but sometimes little slow is implementing plans. One thing I didn't like about the college administration was End Time for girls. It is 8 pm, post which you cannot go out of college
