BCET Gurdaspur B.Tech Biotechnology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The biotechnology department is highly regarded, with excellent teachers and a friendly student environment. Exams occur every semester in two phases: internal and external, every six months. Campus placements are below average, with the highest package of approximately 5 lakh secured with Amazon, and few students securing placements. Mechanical and Civil branches face limited job opportunities with companies like Sonalika, Mahindra, and TCS.

The university has an independent training and placement cell to help students find jobs and offers research and consultancy services to industries. The tuition fee for a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at SBSSU is INR 3,17,800, subject to revisions by the government of Punjab. Hostel and fan rents are payable in two installments, half in August and the other half in January.
