- The Lancaster Library- It's open 24/7 but just keep in mind you are not allowed to sleep peacefully in the building, you will be woken up by the security.
- The hub- It's a building where students and lecturers come to hang out, get involved in fun activities and explore other cultures. This building holds a lot of good memories for me.
- Our lecturers were so friendly and we had socials, which is basically like a get together party where we just get connected with the lecturers outside of class room.
Dislikes
- The lack of a job placement board- there is an office of career assistance but it does not work like a job placement board.
- The lack of real employment drives in the campus makes it harder for students to get a job after their course.
- The high fees structure is something that needs to be looked at.
Placement
- The rate of securing employment is critically low in the UK right now unless you have years of experience.
- Upon graduation it depends on which role you go into, but to obtain a visa you need 33700 if you are under 26 and if you are above 26 it goes up to 41700 which is not possible to attain unless you are highly skilled and experienced.
- You need to scour all the job websites, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Trac for NHS jobs and other industry-specific websites.
- I am not in touch with a lot of my batchmates, but with people I'm in contact with, they have gone into different fields, not the one they studied for.
- I found my private accommodation through a whatsapp group. Uni accommodations are expensive but well maintained and almost all of them are en suite, which means all of them are attached with toilets.
- Monthly rent at a private accommodation will be around 200-400. and the facilities will be basic. In uni accommodations you pay around 450-800. The amenities you have over there are top-notch with your own toilets. My accommodation was about a 20 minutes walk from the uni. Most indian students do prefer private accommodations.

- The classrooms were pretty huge and very comfortable.
- Teaching was very interactive and loved how friendly the professors were.

- Very limited food options on campus.
- The college buildings feel a little scattered and far off from each other.
Placement
- Around 25-30 % secure employment within 6 months of completing the course.
- Upon graduation, salary expectations can be from 6 to 7 LPA.
- Common methods for job acquisition can be from Job Portals and networking.
- For our course there are no placement opportunities provided by the university.
- Major companies that hire for this program are Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, EY, etc.
- The accommodation I chose was recommended by a friend. It also had good reviews on call accommodation websites.
- The monthly rent for my accommodation was 500 and the facilities included were Common room, games, a washing machine, a courtyard, a cinema room, a terrace, and a gym.
- As I found the accommodation by referral, there were no challenges faced as such. I would recommend Trinity in Coventry, as it is the best accommodation and I would suggest making all bookings directly.

- Location was the best part,
- Food was always fresh,
- Faculty was the sweetest and helpful to all the students,
Dislikes
- Student crowd was the worst part of college,
- There was just a small building in the name of a university,
- No outside friends were allowed just to visit inside,
Placement
- Although there are many opportunities, international students are not the first priority of companies and the salaries are also not that great considering the tax rate in the UK.
- It is really challenging to land a graduate role in UK but even if a person lands one, a lot of companies do not give sponsored visa to work and reside in the UK after post study.
- I opted for off-campus accommodation which was a 20 minutes tube ride away from my university. Unite students was the cheapest option.
- The accommodation faculty was very considerate of student needs and provided for every issue faced as soon as they could. Events were held regularly which made us find more friends around and to have fun. the rooms were spacious.

Likes
- Course was aligned with industry requirements and was updated from time to time
- Campus had a huge 24x7 library with a wealth of resources and labs ideal for studying design
- Faculty had lots of experience and was always supportive including giving extra personal tutorials when required
Dislikes
- Unnecessary modules were included in the course and made compulsory to finish them which increased our stress level.
- Course had too many subjects and classes were held in multiple buildings.
- Very limited part-time job opportunities near the campus, had to travel a lot for a part-time job to cover living expenses.
Placement
- Since mine is a highly competitive industry with very few roles cropping up every now and then, only a small percentage secure employment within 6 months of completing their course.
- In the UK, they can expect anywhere between 24k GBP to 55k GBP right after they graduate. So many students found jobs through networking opportunities in the campus and also through LinkedIn etc.
- Placement experience was very good for some of my classmates as they got hired by BMW, Rolls-Royce and Land Rover SVT.
- Finding good accommodation remains one of the biggest challenges in studying abroad.
- There are many websites like Spareroom.co.uk where you can find rooms to rent and Letting Agents in every corner of the city can help you get accommodation, things to keep in mind are one must get a room with a rolling contract and not a fixed contract as if you don't like the accommodation you can leave without breaking the contract.
- Ideally one should opt for an individual (non-shared) bathroom and kitchen as a shared bathroom as a shared bathroom and kitchen is quite common.

Placement
Our university organises various career fairs and other activities where various company come and discuss about different opportunities.
The reason why I chose this University was that I was looking for various universities in UK and it was one of the good university among other universities for business management course and also had a good reputation and about the location, the university is situated right in the middle of the city so it's pretty easy to commute and there are plenty of career opportunities but it depends on how much you work hard for your goals and how well you perform in your studies apart from that it's all about picking up the small things from your surrounding and making it a learning curve.

I did a placement year - worked in a software development company for one year. Great opportunity to learn new skills and technologies.
Good for the field I have picked, not bad for computer science. The location is nice, not too crowded, but lively. Not many extracurriculars - but there is a sports centre. Teaching is okay, exams and assignments are relatively easy.

My program was not just theoretical but had an extensive practical approach. They had Career Counseling sessions and other supportive services which really helped in finding a right career choice and to be able to find a place in the job market. Course curriculum was updated and includes extensive research opportunities which helped us to stay updated with recent developments in the field of computer science. Overall, my experience at Coventry University has been highly positive.

Placement
There is no spoon-feeding in terms of placements, as there are no campus placements or recruitments. The university does help with CV building, and there are job fairs where you can interact with the company representatives and their recruitment process.
I chose the university for its expertise in the Engineering domain. My experience at the university was great. The educational system here is very different from that of India. There is a lot more importance given to self-study, and as you are required to write a research paper as an assignment on the topics that require a lot of reading, published articles give you more current information on that particular topic as you are self-learning it.
Placement
It is quite competitive and one needs to be focused to get their desired placement opportunities. The placement process usually involves an application process, then multiple interviews. The placement salary is around £25k
The university was reputable, and the fees were considerably affordable than rest of them. Yes, I had one round of interview with one of the university team member, who asked me on why I wanted to join this specific university and this particular course. Also they asked me question regarding my hobbies and interests. It is quite a good university but the teaching good be improved. Considering the amount of fees being paid, it is not up to mark.
