Overall experience was awesome and I chose the top universities in the world which are under QS world ranking universities which are understanding 1000 and I found that my university is under 1000 and its fee was not even half of the fees which everyone pay for the US universities because 95% of UK universities are public not private as compared to the US. I applied to 4 different universities. I was rejected by 3 because of a lack of relevant experience in the field of International Relation. And to be honest, I don't remember which uni they were, but i believe it was LSE, Manchester Metropolitan University and King's College London. But I know that after I got accepted by Cov Uni, I was also accepted by university of Sheffield. Coventry University, well, because they accepted me, though I thought my background was not in public affairs. I was following my passion and I stressed that passion in the SOP document, which is why i believe they accepted my application. The application process was straightforwardand easy. After a conditional offer letter, i got an interview call to attend and after the initial payment i was offered an unconditional offer letter. There was an english requirement, that's all. I applied to the JAN intake; I wanted to go as soon as possible because i resigned from my work 3 months before. The Jan intake is considered a mellow intake. The main intake is during September because of the UK students enrolment into the uni The whole process took around 3 months only; it depends on how you follow up and luck is a big factor as well. I heard back about the application within 2 weeks and received my conditional offer letter. I processed my initial payment within another week and the following week was my interview. I applied to 2 colleges in the United Kingdom: Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh – Got Accepted but did not join due to cold weather. Coventry University in Coventry – Accepted and joined. Since I only applied to two colleges, I fortunately only received acceptances and no rejections. The final decision was made on the basis of personal comfort and other factors. The reason why I chose Coventry University was because of the course curriculum. The modules were very intriguing and it was the only university providing a mix of Business and Organizational Psychology In the January Intake. The admission process for this university was pretty straightforward. for the application, there is also a short video interview and submission of documents and after the application is accepted, you just apply for the CAS and everything goes on smoothly. The minimum score for IELTS is 6.5 and you can also waive IELTS if you had a good score in English in Class 12. The overall admission experience was easy and smooth; I did not face any challenges as such. I applied to the January Intake at Coventry University. The factors that influenced my decision were the university ranking, the city being cheaper to live in as compared to others, and the modules for my course being interesting and well planned. The application process took around 2 months. In the first month I had to make the application, attend the interview and wait for the result. Once the result is out, you need to apply for the CAS (Letter for confirmation of acceptance of studies) and Visa. Yes, I had one round of interview with one of the university team member, who asked me on why I wanted to join this specific university and this particular course. I chose the university for its expertise in the Engineering domain. My experience at the university was great. The educational system here is very different from that of India. There is a lot more importance given to self-study, and as you are required to write a research paper as an assignment on the topics that require a lot of reading, published articles give you more current information on that particular topic as you are self-learning it....Read More

They had Career Counseling sessions and other supportive services which really helped in finding a right career choice and to be able to find a place in the job market. The reason why I chose this University was that I was looking for various universities in UK and it was one of the good university among other universities for business management course and also had a good reputation and about the location, the university is situated right in the middle of the city so it's pretty easy to commute and there are plenty of career opportunities but it depends on how much you work hard for your goals and how well you perform in your studies apart from that it's all about picking up the small things from your surrounding and making it a learning curve. ...Read More

I applied to two universities for Automotive and Transportation Design course, one being University of Wales, Swansea and the other being Coventry University, Coventry. I received and offer letter from both and I chose Coventry due it's history and heritage and connections with the automobile industry. University of Wales was fairly new at the time so I pursued Coventry University's course. I decided to go ahead with Coventry University as it was at the forefront of design education since a very long time and many successful designers graduated from this University as their alma mater, the connections with industry is the highlight of the program, with many industry peers visiting the campus very often and also interacting with the students. The admission process included a review of the portfolio followed with an interview. Necessary documents were CV, Portfolio, SOPs, at least 3 letters of recommendation and also IELTS scores but since I was from Telangana my Intermediate English exam score was taken into consideration. One of the major challenges I had to face was the time taken to process the visa and the availability of the visa documents submission slot, If I knew about the time it takes for the processing I would have applied at least 6 months earlier than the course began! I initially applied for the January intake but could not find any visa slots available so I got it deferred to the May intake, the whole admission process itself took around 3-4 months so I would recommend having at least 6 months as a timeline. Since blocking and maintaining of the required funds must be at least for 28 days plus at the time of submission of documents so the funds must lie in your account for at least 3 months and also the gap between getting the offer letter and submission of documents visa slot is another 2 months, finally receiving the visa will take another month....Read More

Applied to- Queen Mary University, Sheffield University, Nottingham University, Sunderland University, Sussex University, Newcastle University, Oxford University Got offer letters in- Queen Mary University, Sheffield University, Sunderland University  I was rejected from other universities as my SOP was not that good according to the universities I got rejected in.  The location was fascinating and so was the faculty present there. I was looking for a college in London and this was the college I could get into. The colleges in my country were not that good and did not provide exposure. Part time jobs were highly respected in the UK and were also very fun to do so. Networking events were also held in my college. I applied to January intake as i was a little late for the application process in the UK and my grades were also low for the higher universities. The admission process was pretty simple as UCAS made it very easy for all the students to apply and track their admission process from a single website.
