What Students Say
Likes
- A pretty huge Library, a decent gym and apartment from that all was good and okay we had lots of career fairs and other activities.
The reason why I chose this University was that I was looking for various universities in UK and it was one of the good university among other universities for business management course and also had a good reputation and about the location, the university is situated right in the middle of the city so it's pretty easy to commute and there are plenty of career opportunities but it depends on how much you work hard for your goals and how well you perform in your studies apart from that it's all about picking up the small things from your surrounding and making it a learning curve.
Course Curriculum
So to be specific about my particular course which is masters in International Business Management the course was pretty decent. I expected a bit more from the university in terms of academics and other activities. I was expecting it to be more of practical work and more of real world experience but it was not up to the expectation mostly it was all about theoretical lectures and so on.
Faculty
For my particular course of International Business Management there were around 600 to 700 students and the number of faculty was pretty decent, there were enough professors to conduct lectures for instance for certain lectures there were around 300 students sitting in a seminal hall and one supervisor or lecturer was present to teach them, apart from that about faculty helping for getting a job I particularly didn't come across any faculty member who was eager to help students but yeah one of those supervisor I had for my dissertation was pretty nice, he helped me in making my reservation better by giving me good feedback and constantly pushing me for doing it better so yeah that's it.
Campus Life
So to be precise if you describe Coventry University you can say the university is right across the Coventry city in bits and pieces. You can see university building in various part of Coventry, we have huge library and engineering building, a University gym and various other facilities in the university.
Placement
Our university organises various career fairs and other activities where various company come and discuss about different opportunities.
Accommodation
It is a decent accommodation with enough facilities which can be needed for day to day work and also the cost of the accommodation is also decent. I pay £345/month.
Exams
- Suman University requirement was they needed IELTS scores, and I applied for the course and I got to pretty decent score of 7.5.
- PG- MSc Biotechnology, D.Y.Patil School of biotechnology and Bioinformatics, CGPA- 5.29/7
- Requirements: Yes I did submit CV, SOP, and a LOR for my university application, it took a long time for university to revert back along with my application we also had a round of interview where the questions were mostly focused on academics and skills and your relevant experience. What I would suggest for new students who are planning to come to UK or any other country and to give such interviews, just be yourself, be honest while giving answers when it comes to your academics your skills because there's lot to learn and it will be a good experience coming out of your country and learning new things the country teaches you a lot so it won't be waste of your time and your money it will be a good experience.
