  • 3 Campuses- Coventry,Scarborough and London,
  • We have a 24/7 library, The Hub building, an arts- and fashion-design-focused building, an engineering building, a sports and gym building and a medical-science-focused building. All of the building are top of their class, well maintained and great to be in.
  • There are activities that happen every week if you are in the Uni. The students Union is active in that.
  • We have had student award nights, club socials, society socials, different fairs, open days, inviting new students and other stuff.

  • I found my private accommodation through a whatsapp group. Uni accommodations are expensive but well maintained and almost all of them are en suite, which means all of them are attached with toilets.
  • Monthly rent at a private accommodation will be around 200-400. and the facilities will be basic. In uni accommodations you pay around 450-800. The amenities you have over there are top-notch with your own toilets. My accommodation was about a 20 minutes walk from the uni. Most indian students do prefer private accommodations.

  • Coventry University has 4 Campuses in UK in Coventry, London, Scarborough and Wroclaw.
  • Facilities available on campus are Gym, Sports Centre, Hub, Food court and Library.
  • There are multiple events hosted by the student union and other student clubs. There are events for festivals like holi and diwali.
  • There are student societies for different interests and ethnicities. For example Bollywood Society, Hindu Society, etc.

  • The accommodation I chose was recommended by a friend. It also had good reviews on call accommodation websites.
  • The monthly rent for my accommodation was 500 and the facilities included were Common room, games, a washing machine, a courtyard, a cinema room, a terrace, and a gym.
  • As I found the accommodation by referral, there were no challenges faced as such. I would recommend Trinity in Coventry, as it is the best accommodation and I would suggest making all bookings directly.
  • My accommodation was 15 minutes away from the university. Majority of the Indian Students prefer private student accommodations.

  • There were no societies or clubs present in my college but the university was open for students to start their own clubs as for the other events there were networking events and cultural fests outside of college.
  • Facilities like library,  medical rooms and game room was available but there was no sports facility available for students. My college has many campuses.

  • I opted for off-campus accommodation which was a 20 minutes tube ride away from my university. Unite students was the cheapest option.
  • The accommodation faculty was very considerate of student needs and provided for every issue faced as soon as they could. Events were held regularly which made us find more friends around and to have fun. the rooms were spacious.

  • The university had lots of society to encourage passions in literature, manga, sports, music and even Indian culture.
  • It was a super bustling and active university at all times with the library being open 24x7.
  • Major festivals included Oktoberfest with the whole city transforming into a mini German market and also Christmas when the whole city buzzes to life.

  • Finding good accommodation remains one of the biggest challenges in studying abroad.
  • There are many websites like Spareroom.co.uk where you can find rooms to rent and Letting Agents in every corner of the city can help you get accommodation, things to keep in mind are one must get a room with a rolling contract and not a fixed contract as if you don't like the accommodation you can leave without breaking the contract.
  • Ideally one should opt for an individual (non-shared) bathroom and kitchen as a shared bathroom as a shared bathroom and kitchen is quite common.

So to be precise if you describe Coventry University you can say the university is right across the Coventry city in bits and pieces. You can see university building in various part of Coventry, we have huge library and engineering building, a University gym and various other facilities in the university.

The library is really good for doing coursework and studying, there are a few floors and laptops and desktops ready to use. The student hub is really nice and lively. Always students there, a good place to make new friends. Most of my classes happen in the Engineering Building and I like that building. Looks really amazing. Also has a Starbucks inside.

The first year I stayed at private student accommodation, second and placement year stayed at a private flat with some of my friends. Both were close to the university (walking distance).

Accommodation is good and rent is approximately 400 pounds per month and sharing is also available. Gym and recreation spaces are available in all university accommodations and average rentals can be based on the area of accommodation.

I lived in a student apartment with a rent of 120 pounds per week. It was an ensuite room with a common kitchen, but everything else was private. This was inclusive of all bills, including your water , electricity, and wifi.
