Coventry University admissions are offered in multiple intakes, with the September intake being the most popular among Indian students. Undergraduate applications for September 2026 follow standard UCAS timelines, with the equal consideration deadline already closed (January 14, 2026), UCAS Extra closing on July 1, 2026, and Clearing opening from July 2, 2026. Postgraduate programs operate on a rolling admissions basis with no fixed deadline and no application fee, meaning students can apply until seats are filled. With rising competition in business, engineering, and healthcare programs, early applications and complete documentation are strongly advised, given the university has an estimated acceptance rate of 32%

In terms of admission requirements, most postgraduate programs at Coventry University require 55-60% in a relevant bachelor’s degree along with IELTS 6.5 (no band below 5.5) or equivalent. Popular courses such as MSc Nursing, MSc Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, and Cyber Security require a relevant academic background, while MBA applicants must additionally demonstrate at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience.

For undergraduate programs, Indian students need 60-65% in Class 12, with specific subject requirements for engineering, IT and health-related courses. English proficiency can be met through IELTS, PTE, or qualifying Class 12 English scores from select Indian boards.

Scholarship

  • When I joined, Indian Students did not have any sponsorship.
  • Some pakistani students and/or students from other asian countries got a scholarship of 2000 pounds.
  • But what I got to know is that recently the students' union has been successful in acquiring sponsorship for Indian students this time around. I am not sure about the exact amount of it but I do know that it is available.

Overview

The reason why I chose this University was that I was looking for various universities in UK and it was one of the good university among other universities for business management course and also had a good reputation and about the location, the university is situated right in the middle of the city so it's pretty easy to commute and there are plenty of career opportunities but it depends on how much you work hard for your goals and how well you perform in your studies apart from that it's all about picking up the small things from your surrounding and making it a learning curve.

Overview

Good for the field I have picked, not bad for computer science. The location is nice, not too crowded, but lively. Not many extracurriculars - but there is a sports centre. Teaching is okay, exams and assignments are relatively easy.
