Remarks

The college is good for education and placement but you can expect partiality and rude behaviour from principal as well as current dean Dr. Shiv Kumara Raiyya, The college is not updating the curriculum to the current industry standards.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is standard as set by VTU and as this College is autonomous affiliated under VTU it have some additional and important subjects also, like machine learning python and speaking english course which is compulsory

Placement Experience

Placements are actually good as compared to other colleges in Karnataka the average package of this year was 7.5 and the highest package was 29lpa which is very good as compared to other colleges in Karnataka.

College Events

College conducts many events each for every branch in college and there is one summer fest as well named Halcyon which has a crowd pull of 1000 people from all over Karnataka. There are many technical events conducted as well like browse and ieee symposium etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not that good coz the current principal have increased the fees so much that lower class people won't be able to afford it, the college charges hefty amount of fees for small small things like computer education society, table and chair facility, fund for college improvement which is nearly around 40000 rs from each student which is unfair.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college only provide scholarship to students of Karnataka and not to any other person coming from other states which is really unfair, all the money will be going into principal's pocket and not properly used to improve the college condition

Campus Life

There is one basketball court lawn tennis court one football ground one cricket stadium and a gym for boys and girls separate.The college also provides place for conducting meetings inside college to various college groups.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is 68000rs annually the hostel infrastructure is normal but the staff behaviour is very bad they don't give edible food and argue with students if we complain about the food and there is no proper maintenance of hostel mess and bathrooms.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of this college visit occasionally because of the principal's behaviour and not giving any respect and facilities to them but they are connected with us on online platform like Facebook and WhatsApp.

Admission

There is a exam called Comedk for non Karnataka students which is held online every year and based on your rank you will get the desired branch in this college. For students living in Karnataka there is an exam called CET based on which students can get admission here.

Faculty

Faculties are good and are equal to all students they basically judge students on their capabilities and score them accordingly , are helpful as well as supportive in all the academic matters and college related matters.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
