Remarks

I really am happy to get into this college. Hope this college fulfills my dreams. The campus is excellent Add to to that a typical Bangalore weather, and we have the best campus in Bangalore. Also, this the second ranked college after RVCE in Bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

We haven't yet received the course details from the institution yet. Since this is my first year. We have an Induction programe scheduled for the first two weeks. This programe aims at easing the student's may queries.

Placement Experience

During the Induction program, we were introduced to our placements coordinator. She is an excellent individual striving for remarkable placements. Yes the college does provide internships. The highest package last year was 60lpa CTC.

College Events

The college has many events. The main and the cultural one is called Utsav. We also have several hackathons. We also have sports events called as Kreedotsav. Apart from these, we have several workshops.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is relatively feasible if we are joining by writing one of the several exams, like COMEDK or KCET. the fees is either 2 or 1.5 lac depending on the course. But if you are joining without giving an test, it maybe be from 8 to 4 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offers a scholarship for the students who excell in their academics. The toppers from each branch with get a scholarship from the college's trustee. Even the alumni are involved in the process.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities, labs, sports etc are very active and good. There are several sports competitions. As well as many technical fests. We also have several hackathons. We also have sports events called as Kreedotsav. Apart from these, we have several workshops

Alumni/Alumna

The toppers from each branch with get a scholarship from the college's trustee. Even the alumni are involved in the process. Currently, the seniors are involved in the Induction program. The seniors are very interactive and helpful.

Admission

Got in via an entrance exam called COMED-K (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka). I got a rank of 1193 in the exam. I was luck enough to get an admission in BMSCE for this rank.

Faculty

We haven't been introduced to our faculty yet. We have an Induction programe scheduled for the first two weeks. This programe aims at easing the student's may queries. We hope to meet our faculty at the end of this programe.

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Dislikes

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Likes

The Well maintained Infrastructure of around 20 acres
The support for non academic activities like sports and cultural
Supportive nature of few faculties for tech competitions both for participating as well as for organising

Dislikes

There is no much needed coordination among faculties
The student teacher bonds are not good for all faculties
Some over helmed rules regarding discipline and cleanliness

Placement Experience:

Well in case of placements it's not upto the mark because, As it's a Government college for companies there will be a zero promotion. One more thing is there is no separate funds to accommodate the officials came to the college for placements And the college is not working with 100% efficiency towards placements of students

The maintenance of campus is good ,and the college events , and the teaching level is also excellent and the particular student have there own mentor they guide in each thing
The way they support us encourge us for our success and support in every situation and also support to the students in placment or training opportunities
If we lack or we are in problem they will support to come out if that with good solution

Dislikes

the college is not too strict for that reason the students may spoil easily
the ratio of our college is like 60:40 that is the majority are boys , and the college fan are slow which cause problem in summer
the college washrrom are not clean that cause problem,lack if industry

Placement Experience:

At the 6 th semester the students are eligible for placements and compaines visited our college are cloud fabric , crafty sogo , congnizent and some training like v tech , qspriders , pentagon space,alpheoleo , medini and some more the highest package is 5 lakh and the lowest is 3 lakh . around 10 to 15 students have been placed from cse dept after the degree i have one good salary job so to settle my life

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

A good college life

Likes

The Campus is student friendly and interactive
Students engage with each other and help each other in academics
Faculty here is very good and they are expert in their fields and interact with students

Dislikes

As such I don't have anything that I dislike
Campus is bit small but it looks good and great
Overall campus is good with basketball court and football ground

Placement Experience:

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

My review to you.!

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we will become eligible for campus placements. Very few companies will visit for chemical engineering those are aslo not core. Highest package offered for a chemical engineering is 600000 I guess this aslo a long back. But dont take a hope on placements here in chemical weapons. Do mainly focus on Gate exam. Get good score go for mtech or apply for good core jobs for interview.
