Not Perfect , But Definitely Worth the Journey

I chose this course becoz the curriculum covers fundamentals including programming , cyber security , aiml , cloud computing..the combination of core engineering concept and specialized cyber security subjects were major factor in my decision . cirrculum provides a strong theoritical fundation andit help prepare for carrer. In this cirriculum only improvement would be more hands on , live case studies , certification oriented trainings. we have intenships from the first year ...like 1st year summer internship is SRIJAN in which internships are allocated in NGO for 2 months June n July . in the second year also there is an internship in which students are working in a campany ..these two internships are unpaid . after that common internship role include software develpoment intern , cybersecurity intern etc the stipend varies depending on the company and rol. students may receive anywhere from 5,000 - 50,000.

placements is generally good , specially for students who actively build their skills through project and coding practice . students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem , internships are offered from 5th n 6th sem ...also in the 1st and 2nd year we have internship like in the 1st year we have SRIJAN internship in which we work in a NGO and in the 2nd year we have an internship in a company. highest package reported in recent years is 50+ lpa while average for computer science related programs is generally around 8 - 9 lpa after completing my graduation degree i plan to pursue opportunity in cybersecurity for 2-3 years and then continue my studies.

Campus life of upes is amazing. there are many annual fests and events like UURJA (March), SPANDHAN(November) , OJAS(Feb) . so these are some fests of upes which are grand and fun . Central library is huge and has a lot of books and is easily accessible . Sports facilties are there like volleyball court , basketball court , Ground There are many clubs and society in campus which are fun and in a way relaxing ...also builds up communication skills and teamwork skills

i choose upes because of its infrastructure and strong focus on practical leraning. upes has a active campus life and overall nice environment with a lot of activities and events to do one drawback is high fee structure admission process at upes is straightforward . for Btech programms , admissions are generally based on class 12 performance and JEE / CUET . students must have completed class 12 with physics , mathematics and english along with 75% criteria . the admission experience was smooth

Faculties are generally knowledgeable and experienced , the faculty to student ratio is reasonable and most faculties are approachable. Students who actively engage usually receive good gardes and academics. My AEM 2 faculty SUSMAY Nandi sir is really nice ... he is understanding and taught really well , he made complex concepts easier to understand and encouraged active participation in class. I dont wanna take name of any faculty as every faculty tries there best but there are some faculties who dont take teaching seriously and are very careless , some intentionally fails the whole batch or some specific student . The examination system typically consists of : Continuous assessments , quizzes , assign and lab evaluations mid sem end sem project work the difficulty level of exam differs from subj to subj ... students who attend and learn usually dont faaace major difficulties . pass perecentage is average . some students fail usually due to poor attendance , missed asssements

The nightlife of campus is calm and there are many areas to relax. most student spend time in cafeterias , hostels or near by cafes. library is closed at 8pm , gym around 9pm anf cafes around 9pm ...incampus hostel timmings are 10pm while outcampus its 9pm...campus gates are closed at 8:30pm. famous hangout places inside campus is frisco , tulips , dunkin , chai garam , benchs near library , ground
