Course Curriculum Overview

My course bachelor of arts in economics is considered to be quite a rigorous course but it is very well planned as we copy it from the london school of economics which is top tier hence better renown curriculum prepares us well for real world and improvement could be done having more practical experiences timing of exams is very bad at end of year

66000 yearly , 20000 yearly, 5000 tuition fees , 2000 caution fee , admission fee 4000 , registration fee 1000,lab fees 8000 general category , for batchmates with reservation 40 percent fee cut yearly and total

Campus Life

The campus life is very booming we have the nexus event which is very fun and well known , the library has all the books you will need societies are amazing and helpful no ac in classrooms which is quite sad sports activities are also there but not that many

Admission

I chose this sri venketeswara college because it was in soutch campus one of the things i viewed was distance from gome to college is daily travel needs to be dkne and it is quite close it has great reputation also which makes it all the more better i couldnt make it to other colleges because of cuet score

Placement Experience:

See in my course, students are not that much focused on placement! They are more focused on things like upsc, govt jobs, academics, professors, further MBA! So I do not know about the placement culture! But for someone who wants placement in GIS field there is a placement cell for geography department as well!

Placement Experience:

If seen, students become eligible for placement sitting in the third year but there are many types of internships in the post second year which you can do. The college has its own placement cell, you can join it and from there you can stay connected with the placements. There are many companies which visit the college. Job fairs are also organised in the college. Many companies, international and national, visit. Along with this, education fairs are also organised inside the college campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent, not extraordinary. The average package is around 4.5-5 LPA, and the highest is around 21LPA. Students become eligible during their final year. The companies that have visited are EY, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co., Deloitte, etc. Decent number of students don't sit for placements or choose higher studies instead. As for me, I plan to do an MBA after graduation.
