Course Curriculum Overview

In field of commerce our course curriculum is very relevant and other than that optional subject are also good for broader knowledge other than that the course I am persuing.Exams are at moderate level , a student who have studied 50% of what is taught seriously can pass the subject.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 20875 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the b.com hons is 20875 rupees per year . Other than that there is fees for examination form which is at avg around 1.5 k to 2 k including practicals. Before this I have paid for cuet form only.

Campus Life

It's been 6 months in the college and compus life is not that exciting. There was A Diwali event ( Divyoutsav) and overall experience of that Event was okay okay. And other than recently fresher's party was organised by student union which unexpectedly good. College societies are engaging and add a some fun in college life and knowledge too. On the. Technological and infrastructure side our campus is good and not that great but yeah good.

Admission

As I got admission in this college by cuet. This was my 7th preference and reason for this was as SBSC is famous for commerce background and courses. First 6 preference were SRCC , Hindu , Hansraj, ramjas , Venky , ARSD. As these colleges are ahead of SBSC according to rankings. Overall admission process was tiring to be honest. There were many steps and complicated as well.

Faculty

Faculty members are mix in nature some are nice but at other hand few are rude enough. Including non teaching staff. I can't name the member or non teaching staff who are rude as I don't know the name.Teaching staff is nice , helpful as of . There is end sem exam and 1 to 2 internal class test in each semester.

Night Life

Our college do not provide hostels but I stay near the college at 200m distance. There are plenty of pgs and flats for the students of the college. There are not much hangout places near the college just 2 to 3 nice cafe and there is a place called authority near our college which is a hub of students for eating hang out and everything. Night life is peaceful here no much drama or anything. Student walk and talk around the society and have food etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

Facts

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
