Course Curriculum Overview
If one wants to thrive on free servings then our course is definitely not for them. One has to roil hard and sweat often. Having said that what I wanted in my course, I got all of it in my course. All the programing languages and things that needs to build software and at the same time knowing hardware as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
A quality college commands quality fees and UPES University thua charge 5 lakhs as yearly fees. CSE is expected as a high end program and therefore the fees is such. Also our hostels are like quality and thus for that I am paying 1.8 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
Spandan and URJAA both different as the former is sports fest and the later one is cultural fest. So our college basically rocks as there are around 20+ committees. All in all one has to be brave at UPES as every brave students are rewarded here. No one can be unhappy with the infrastructure as infrastructure is the front end of UPES.
Hostel Facilities
With the lack of food being as good as it should be, nothing here can be comaplined about. The advantage of staying at the hostels is that one can wake up at their time as it takes 2-3 mins to reach classes from the hostel.
Admission
No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. If not then in top 20k JEE ranks your name has to be there regardless. So those are the only ways to get admission especially in CSE at the UPES University.
Faculty
Is it compulsory that faculties have to be nerdy as ours are for sure nerdy. They don't give us a lot of time too as we are supposed to swing in from 1st class of each semester. According to them that is all that count and therefore they are that strict. I love the fire the energy the response that they give on clearing all our questions.
Night Life
The level of campus life is such that being a hostelite, I hardly feel like leaving the hostels. Campus has n number of facilities and it advertise all of them like gun. So Maghie Point and Suicide Point are the two places where I go mostly of i step out of the university.
