Likes

There are financial literacy sessions organised by our college which gives deep insights.
The students are pretty approachable and interactive.
The buildings and classes are air conditioned.

Course Curriculum Overview

We can choose a minor degree like management or data science. These two subjects give us skills and knowledge that are essential for the corporate world. We can choose one according to our interests. The exams are conducted twice in a semester.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are internship opportunities we can apply for that float in the official college groups. Along with that, we have an internship week for many companies to come in campus to select students. There are various domains that are provided in the commerce and management sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fee structure of my college comprises a tuition fee of one lakh ten thousand rupees on a yearly basis. I will be paying next year's fee with an increase of ten thousand rupees. There was a fixed registration fee on the college's website. There are no particular scholarships available. The fees for the complete course sum up to four lakh rupees.

Campus Life

There are annual debating workshops and case competitions, like Samvaad, Ecolibrium, etc. Every society has a specific flagship event. There are all the books we need that are relevant to our course and subject. There are projectors, mics, and ACs in our classes.

Admission

The parameters I analysed under careful consideration are proximity to my house, whether the college is private or government-regulated and the professors which teach us and I was pretty satisfied with DTU in all these matters.

Faculty

There are specific periods for students to interact with the faculty and ask questions so that there is a transparent environment. Dr. Ratnam Mishra is really supportive and encouraging in and outside class.

Night Life

There are many gyms, cafeterias, and public parks near our campus. Everything is in proximity to each other. There is a government hospital and a private hospital for emergencies and there is a police booth two minuted away from the campus.

A world in its own

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Few companies which have offered placements in our college are deloitte, bain, accenture etc. the highest and average placement being 3600000 and 840000 respectively. My plans after this degree is to opt for MBA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid,they still teach out dated syllabus and methods and syllabus is updating very slowly. But with the introduction of SEC and VAC and GE subjects ,students have different options which aligns with NEP.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The structure of the course was from basic to advanced. The structure made sure that all the basics are cleared specially for those who did not have psychology as a subject in class 12. • The course is well-tuned with the practical aspects that makes us better equipped for tackling real world problems. • Inclusion of field trips every semester should be implemented for better insight about the materials in the course. • Midterms are held in between our semester that is of moderate level that consists of 1 or 2 units, usually for 30 marks. The end semester exams are held at the end of the semester for around 90 marks which has higher level of difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was choosing this course in preference list I found it interesting to study the society, it's main aspect and concepts included in it . I read about Marx , max etc and found some interest in it . The curriculum does tell concept relevant information society but I feel like there is a lot of need to research in Indian societal concept and their work and interaction. Teaching method can be interesting, interactive rather than being boring concept reading in class

Why not DTU?

Placement Experience:

I feel every student needs to work hard on themselves first and equip themselves with skills which could land them a good placement. There are companies which are partnering with the college and admit interns and applicants by the end of the year. I personally have not applied for the internships or the placements but I intend to in the future.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester student become eligible for the placements. Companies visited are KPMG , Adobe , JP Morgan etc.Average package of my college is 16 lakhs ( i am not very sure as I am a first year student). My plans after degree is to pursue higher education.

Covering all the aspects to know of the college

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell and provide a very good rate of placement for the courses like b.com ,bsc and some for the courses such as geography. Placements take place in the 5th sem if you are doing three year degree or in the 7th sem if you are doing four year degree. The number of companies visited were about 80 to 90 the names of the recruiters is as Google, Accenture, Amazon, Talent Serve, Deloitte. The highest package was of 24 lpa and the median salary is 5 lpa the lowest package was of 2 lpa . 60 % of students are placed in placement. My plans after getting the degree is will prefer higher education

Why not DTU?

I was indecisive about this college and I was also aiming for a North Campus DU college but when I got myself admitted here and spent a semester, I got to know the Pros of studying here. The first and the foremost thing, its a government college with a good reputation. Secondly, the crowd here is actually very friendly and nice to be around. DTU is where responsibility falls!

DTU portal is the way to apply for DTU and one has to punch in their 12th scores, stream and CUET scores. The cut-off obviously chop and change as per demand and in 2023 when I took admission the cut off for BAE at DTU was 634.
