My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

I Choose this college because i belong to OBC Category and in Obc the cutoff is too high for other colleges . So i was getting just This course in this college so i choose that . Yes our studies are very helpful for us to prepare for real world application and also our curriculum helps for the Entrace exams of MTech that is called GATE . Areas can be improves are teacher can give us less written work for the assignment and project and other unnessesary things . And there should be gape between two Exams of minimum 1 day . They put every exam continously . I don't like the frequency of my exam it should be change.

The placements of our college is pretty nice , the highest package offered in the year 2024 was 57 LPA or 58 LPA Something , Which is significant Big in india. And our Median Package Lies in 9 or 10 LPA. Student become eligible in 3 year for placemnet , Many companies has visited us in the past like Google , Microsoft , Phonepy Etc. The placement percentage is very nice around 80% + but in our branch Placemnet is very low it is around 30 % which is very low as the standard of NIT. Many student goes to forien for highly Studies. I will be doing UPSC After my exam

Hello I am Prachi Kosariya an student of NIT Raipur An Goverment Institute which is run by 'Goverment of India '. The Fees I will be paying per year is around 140000 , it includes all the charges like tution fees , examination fees , library fee and other charges . My friends from different category like St/Sc have to pay 8000 per semester , Cause they have Tution Fee wavier. Which is good for them so they don't have too much financial burden on themselves. I may be getting Nsp ( National Scholarship Portal ) Or May be CG( Chattisgarh ) Post Matric Scholarship .

There are many annual and Technical Festival in Our College Which is Called As Shruti And Eclectrika , which is fest where celebrities come for There performance on the stage , last year the Celebrity like Yasser Desai Came. Which has Produced famous song like "Hum to deewane tere " . There are many books in our library around 2000-3000 books or maybe more than that , it cover all the subjects and the branches. There are projectors in our class with White board teachers come and teach us with there PPTs and PDFs. There are some clubs Like Robotics , Motosports , Enterprenership Cell , Innovation Cell , Nrityam , RaGa( For Singing ) . And NSs For social Work

I had applied for NIT Silchar , But i didn't got it because of Low percentile in Jee Mains 2025 but i got NIT Raipur At Last Because NITs Have Home State quota and I Belong to Chattisgarh ,so i got NIT . I didn't Choose this college this was the only option i Had Left . So i had to choose this college that to Bio Technology Branch .but anyways i got good college ,better than half of the private institute in the manner of Fees and Reputition . We got admission through JOSAA , And we have to qualify Jee Mains Examination ,which Is Conducted By NTA ( National Testing Agency ) . The cutoff the exam category wise are Gen - 93.4 Percentile , Obc-82.1 Percentile , Sc -61 Percentile , And For ST it is 48 Percentile. The exam was very hectic i have to prepare for almost one year in my Drop .

The faculty student ratio of our college is around 1:20 may be , i'am wrong in it cause i don't know too much about this college proffessors since i am an first year student . The faculties are very helpful and friendly with us they try to solve if we have any problem. The faculty i like the most is Dr. Shweta N ( Basic Bio Science ) , because she is very calm and compose with us ,and she teach us very good bio ,since we belongs to mathematics department we are weak at bio ,but mam clear all our doubt. The faculty i didn't like is Dr. Anita Murmu ( Data Structure ) , She gave me E Grade Just because I was unable to submit My Assigment on time. There are 2 exams , Mid sem exam and End sem exam. Mid sem is of 30 marks and End sem is of 50 marks

The nightlife as an girl i can't share too much because i leave at 7 PM College because i come from my Home and that is around 35 KM So it is very difficult for me . There are gym where boys can workout. An Cafeteria Called PI Chai is also where my group can gossip .and Library where i go for self study and Other work. The college building close at 8 PM Sharply. Hostel is good as I heard about it from some of friends who got the hostels. The hostel last timing is around 9pm after that no one is allowed inside the hostel , if the warden has got the news The famous places in our college is ? chai which is an Cafeteria and Our Fav. place is CG ( Central Garden )
