Course Curriculum Overview
Economics Honours specifically is quite a difficult course and requires very much and a very deep understanding of whatever subjects and topics we are studying. Specifically the 2nd year comes with a lot of challenges of handling such advanced level of all the subjects, making a student diffucult to survive this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yeat wise fees for pur second year in Economics Honours at Miranda house is 13,650 which seems quite affordable as we are being provided top level educators in this college and course. Although, i didn't apply for any scholarships nor received any.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is lively and enjoyable. People enjoy arpund with their friends and experience the best campus life. There are many societies with good cultural integration, available for every field.
Admission
I always wanted to be a part of Delhi University only so i upted for CUET-UG only, nothing else. Although, my most preferred course was BCOM-HONS as being a commerce student, business and accounts interested me the most however, this was my second preferred course and am grateful to have an opportunity to be a part of this course in such a prestigious college.
Faculty
I feel that the faculty to student ratio is quite less specifically for our course as there are 120 approz students in our course and hardly 3-4 faculty members, common for all the years which makes it hectic and inefficient for faculty members to manage so much single handedly. Regarding the exam amd markimg schemes, i feel that it is terrible for the whole DU as studebts habe to deal with so many assessments and assignments for the whole semester, making them unabled to pursue extracurriculars which is the core of college life. Every student would relate that the internal marks matter a lot, but the marking scheme in DU is just ruining people's marks and GPA, nothing else.
Night Life
I have not opted for hostel facilities so i don't know much about tbe night life in tbe college but some hosteller friends do mention that the campus is really pretty in the night but no access to cafeterias late night.
